Dulany Conjecture (solved)
@dulanyw
Tech + business, mostly. Here to have fun and learn stuff, not to argue. He/him.
I should probably put a limit on the number of alternative links
Anyway, the flakiness of this is honestly kind of endearing
TFW I've asked Codex for five different low-budget, dependency-free 3D rendering systems, then tell it to actually make it good:
And now, the student surpasses the master 🥲 @chickenjockey.blueskyb.org
Hmmm - this looks like a plugin installation issue. I just installed Cline in VSCode, set up Ollama with Qwen3.5:9b as the coding agent, and was list and use tools without an issue. (Context window filled up fast, but I was just looking for proof of concept).
"Codex, did you mock-up that human video model I requested?" "Yes, sir - real Eldritch, just like you asked"
Also a front view that makes it look like an anime character
@awp.christies.org.uk I could not find a flying swan model, but here is a flying dove
A couple of animal wind tunnel updates: Latest version of the guinea pig below, now resting on the floor instead of flying through the air. Main difference is reduced force on the lower appendages due to a boundary layer over the floor (the thickness of which is very sensitive to distance to fan)
This image is obviously wrong (highest drag should be right in front, not across the top) And obviously AI Which I found disappointing Because instead of just asking ChatGPT or Gemini to make a (wrong) fake picture You can just ask Codex or CC to rig you up an actual aerodynamics sim
