Why are you so excited about exploring these rocks, Lucy? [Spoiler alert: because someone dropped part of a cookie over there]
A couple of photos from taking action this summer - canvassing in CA-48, and writing postcards to get out the vote. Feels great to take action together!
Vegan sushi bake. This used up all the rice vinegar and Sriracha left in the cupboard. It's pretty good! Has some poke bowl vibes.
Signs and bumber stickers. We talked about getting a series of signs that say "Your vote counts, David!" or "Your vote counts, Lisa!" Could be pretty effective for any Lisas or Davids who happen to pass by.
I am an indoorsy person, but hiking to a waterfall and soaking your feet in the water is something I can endorse.
A plate of food from the potluck - cheesecake (up top with black berries on top) and mushroom chickpea tart (on left) were my 2 contributions
Lucy is a Classy Lady, but that does not preclude eating a french fry found in a driveway.
1cc #912: The Act. An obscure interactive-movie game - like a distant cousin of Dragon's Lair. Turn the knob left or right to make Edgar be more shy or bold as he flirts with Sylvia. Mirroring other characters is an unusual game mechanic and works well with the expressive animations.
Re-doing an old 1cc: Point Blank! Found a romset that had no high score posted on MARP - now it does.
1cc #911: Mini-Golf Deluxe, in Tri-Sports. Silly 1cc of a silly game: I used the keyboard controls, and fiddled with analog settings between holes. When my score got too high in practice the score glitched out and displayed garbage characters, so I aimed for exactly 32,700 - that's the max score?
Made Rice Krispie treats with potato chips scrunched in. They are DANGEROUSLY good. They were popular with friends at the protest.
Those maps have big "conspiracy theory red string board" energy [complimentary]
1cc #910: T.N.K. III. Fun rotary-joystick tank game. Aggravating when you get blown up and lose all your power-ups. There's a way to leech lots of points at the City stage, giving you so many extra lives you can steamroll through the rest. (Note the cheeky "TANK YOU!" on the victory screen)
