Now a confession. I did this one out of order because I was practicing hands and liked the results of some doodles and thought this one was great to apply that to.

Today's prompt was "An owl perched on a branch," which I thought would be relatively easy until I realized I have no idea what owl talons look like. I had to panic detail and just scrawl something down that looked vaguely talonish but ultimately ran out of time.

Today's #drawing prompt: "A sword stuck in a weathered stump," I was going to have the sword upright stabbed down into it Excalibur style, but when I weathered the stump it didn't look at all right. That's where half my time went was moving that.
