Smooth-talking grifter with a silver tongue and a permanent scheme brewing. Lives on bad coffee, late night diners, and the space between truth and a good story. History/Politics/Commentary…and what not.
Why is the honor guard working a UFC event and introducing fighters?
Wemby’s™ would like to congratulate the New York Knicks on their championship and respectfully ask them to stop celebrating. We get it. You won. The confetti, the trophy, the parade, the joy… we’ve seen enough. Try our new Runner-Up Combo. It tastes exactly like losing in five. #NBAFinals #Knicks
If Iran is doing “ZERO business” and is a “FAILED NATION,” then where is all that oil supposedly “getting out” to? A successful blockade and continued exports are usually considered opposite concepts.
82 years ago today, the 82nd Airborne dropped in behind enemy lines on D-Day. Rest easy my brothers, as your sacrifices were not in vain.
I give up, I didn’t know we had elected the Secretary of the Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy, to give military briefs on the strait of Hormuz.
The real suffering of the war is right here. An Iranian child swings after a naval base was bombed in the Straight of Hormuz. Keep swinging kid, you deserve it above all.
What best serves an opposing party in a midterm election? Reiterating that the President is a conman or using religious talking points against the “Christian nationalist right”? I’ll go with option 2.
Epic clap back by @fpwellman.bsky.social. From this vet to you sir, thank you.
A classified National Intelligence Council assessment (reflecting all 18 U.S. intel agencies) found even a large U.S. military strike on Iran would be unlikely to topple the regime. Even if Khamenei were killed, succession mechanisms would likely keep the system in power.
Sometimes a replacement is what’s needed, in this case, not so much.
The truth is, we didn’t behead the serpent but one of many heads of the hydra.
When you have to ask your base for acceptable numbers of casualties and get called out by “Space Lazers”, you’re on the wrong side of history.
It’s like the dog telling you they’ll investigate who ate your homework, amigo.
We built systems that maximize winning conditions, then act surprised when “win” means mushroom clouds. The machines aren’t bloodthirsty. They’re literal. And that should make everyone in the room a little less casual about what we’re training them to value.
CNN finds 90-plus Epstein interview records missing, including ones tied to a woman who accused both Epstein and Trump. DOJ says nothing was deleted, just duplicates and protected material. Maybe. It’s interesting how “full transparency” always seems to arrive with a few key pages unavailable.
Trump heads into the State of the Union at 39% approval, 47% strongly disapproving, independents bailing, voters down on immigration, the economy, inflation, tariffs. Most say the country’s worse off than a year ago. Trump says the polls are fake, like blaming the thermometer for the fever.
DOJ drops a six-page note to Congress explaining why Epstein files got redacted. Spoiler: they’re still mixing actual players with random names just to muddy the waters. Pages attached.
Reading this mess so you don’t have to, but you should. Corruption isn’t protected by hiding behind blackened lines, it only becomes more clear and urgent.
