Added eyes (reposting pic after a bit more work - realised they were a bit off).
iPhone camera makes this look pretty rough, but anything is better than grey. Batman from Gotham City Chronicles almost ready to THWACK!
First game with Daredevil for Marvel Champions. It ended with a win, but was iffy for most of it.
Still playing Dune: War for Arrakis both sides. Harkonnen probably going to win, but I’m not making it easy on myself - Atreides called on The Maker and broke a section of the mountain with atomics and now there’s a dick worm to worry about.
Another mini painted. Clayface from the board game Gotham City Chronicles.
Dune: War for Arrakis set up for learning. Nod to the person who decided the phallic sand worms should be cast in flesh colour.
Saw this drawer set in Office Works and thought it might work for storing DC United when (if) it comes. Tested it with all my Marvel United. Villain cards are all in the box on top. Hero cards in the bottom drawer along with large models, villain dashboards and locations.
Learning Cuba Libre solo. My first COIN (counter insurgency) game. Enjoying the specifically stacked, step-by-step playbook guide from GMT Games.
Not my best but I murdered the details with too thick a primer, so this will do. (Vision for Marvel Zombies)
My wife is away for work, so I brought Primal home. Sure she won’t notice….
@elprezau.bsky.social This is the standee all gameplay version. Glad I didn’t get the minis! (Box cutter for size reference)
Looking forward to the fiction of attempting to be an effective US President.
Operation Get Stuffed Telstra With Your Price Increases is underway (iiNet cheaper, 9 x speed and free FTTP upgrade).
Set up and ready to learn the solo game. My dining table is almost not big enough.
New game smell - The Old King’s Crown. A real stunner. Hopefully the solo hooks me. @elprezau.bsky.social
This month’s plays. Being home sick for two weeks certainly upped the average. #bgstats #boardgames
Evershade is fully sick. I should stop and paint the miniatures, but want to keep going.
And then the time the editor quit and I kept the mag running from the other side of the country for a few issues until the next editor could start.
Kaiden wants to read some of my mag reviews and then write one for Donkey Kong, so I pulled out a couple of issues from the garage. I sure did waffle and get paid for it.
Final Girl - some amazing dice rolls = success against the Big Bad Wolf without saving a single victim.
@elprezau.bsky.social Can you tell me the difference between these two patterns? I know the dotted circles are empty spaces, but can the other one be blank or filled? I’m wondering if I can fulfil both with one pattern on my board?
Am home sick, which is such a shame with all these board games here! Darwin’s Journey is a lovely game that I had forgotten how to play. The automa is a little bit fiddly, but I got wind of it after a couple of rounds. Ended up losing by four points on the easiest difficulty.
Eternal Decks is such a good solitaire puzzle! And I’m still just splashing around in the kiddy pool of Stage A.
@elprezau.bsky.social The results of my efforts with Evershade. 🤪 The sleeves box has all the cards inside (they did provide an insert for this). Also managed to fit both the cardboard and acrylic tokens into the main box. There’s about 6 of those thin adventures coming in Wave 2…
After initial excitement, this is certainly going to be a storage conundrum.
