#100HorrorMoviesin92Days 2. WINNIE THE POOH - BLOOD AND HONEY I had held out on watching any of these public domain “Disney” movies until today. I didn’t hate it?
Trying out the #100HorrorMoviesin92Days thing this year. Got a late start but going to try and play catch up 1. INTO THE DEEP I am a sucker for shark movies, so they have to be awful for me not to enjoy them and I liked this one
My neighborhood theater is doing this as an all night marathon tomorrow but I can’t stay up that long so I have decided to watch these movies over 2 days
TCM has been on a great roll lately so I have a bunch of movies I recorded that I have never seen (somehow) - tonight’s viewing THE STREET FIGHTER (1974)
No cheating. Your last saved celebrity pic is your therapist. Oof. 80s Jake and I’m doomed. 2020s Jake- he has insights that would probably make him the best therapist ever
Today is his birthday, so (coupled with a light work meeting day) I think it’s time for some Lucio Fulci movies as background noise in my office. First up
Up late drinking and watching 80s music videos and UNDERCOVER OF THE NIGHT is probably my favorite 80s Stones’ song
It’s Memorial Day, which means it’s Summer, which means it’s time for Pimm’s Cups
It’s a little early to get right into the mint juleps so I am instead starting out with a julep spritz
Currently watching. There was a time where I was obsessed with this movie and I was sure I was Rob. I had just come off my 2nd divorce and I was this music snob and was sure I had fucked up all the relationships in my life without realizing Rob is the fucking worst so I shouldn’t relate to him.
From today so all caught up- THERE’S SOMETHING IN THE BARN: this was kinda silly but would make a pretty good triple feature with KRAMPUS and RARE EXPORTS #HorrorMoviesForTheHolidays
More catch up: Movie 9 SILENT NIGHT, BLOODY NIGHT - this is a creepy little proto-slasher, but holy hell is every version I’ve ever seen streaming looked like someone used a cam corded to record an old VHS version right off the tv screen
Forgot to post these the last few days, so time to play catch up. Movie 8 IT’S A WONDERFUL KNIFE - I enjoyed this one (even if it had no desire to explain most of the reason why things were happening)
Movie 7 WHILE SHE WAS OUT - I had never heard of this movie until yesterday. There’s not much to it but it was a fun kinda sleazy pic with a good lead performance from Kim Bassenger #HorrorMoviesForTheHollidays
Took a few days off for the weekend (and also forgot to post this earlier): Movie 6 BODY - I like the way this one captured the feeling that you need to make every moment count when home for Christmas when you are young before things get bunkers #HorrorMoviesForTheHolidays
Movie 5 P2 - As usual, I could do without the dog stuff but otherwise a fun one #HorrorMoviesForTheHolidays
