My point was different areas have different prices. Those aren't the Walmart prices here. The author stated that she used a specific brand of chocolate chips, Ghirardelli. Here's the price for the chocolate chips from Walmart, which is 10+ miles away. 1.5 to 2 hrs in traffic, round trip.
Be thankful for those prices, because they are amazing. Here's the price for the same brand of chocolate chips the author used from Ralph's in Los Angeles. Ralph's is a non specialty grocery store.
