This little guy is Ronny. He is 13 years old and 9 pounds. Ronny is a shy, quiet boy who spends much of his time alone, sleeping in another room. When he wakes up he heads towards me meowing until I start petting him. Belly is not a trap for him either. He is a very nervous boy and startles easily.

This little guy is Elvis. He is 13 years old and 9.5 pounds. My sister called Elvis her "best boy". He loves to sit with you and get pets. Belly is not a trap. He is a frequent companion for me and will definitely make me take work breaks periodically. He is smart and learns fast. Sweet boy.

Bind off complete! I will weave in ends tomorrow. Just a quick look at the offending seed stitch. I hate the way my phone camera dulls the color so I don't think I'll be posting the full project.

This is the upper corner of a knitted lap blanket. It shows the top and side border that are knit in seed stitch, a six row section of stockinette pattern and then part of the first textured panel. The color should be a heather forest green but instead the camera washes it out and it looks grayish.

I finished this knit beanie in the past week. I'm working on another one using a different pattern now. You can never have too many hats in winter. Yellow is cheerful!

Anyway, this is the dude who passed out. I don't know his name but I've seen him hanging around Trump before. I hope he's okay. Geez. Look at Trump in this photo. Can you be any more checked out?

Recent presser at the Oval Office, shows Dr. Oz at the podium with one hand raised to make some sort of unknown point and a bunch of Trump Toady's standing around listening politely. And then there is Trump seated at his desk, slumping to the side with his eyes closed. The picture has one man circled in red (by me) and I am wondering who he is because he keels over and the presser ends not long after this.

There is an animal rescue organization in Cummings, Georgia called FurKids. Yesterday their transport van heading to Vermont with 37 cats aboard was involved in a serious accident on I-85 south of mile marker 147, Jackson Co. 35 cats have been recovered and are safe. Two cats are still missing.

Just a little tuxie black and white love bug kitty laying on a furry white blanket snuggling up with a catnip infused kick bunny toy looking like she already knows she's in her forever home.

A kick bunny is a large crocheted kicker toy that is basically a long thick tube with four paws on one side and stitched eyes that cats like to grip and wrestle with in play. This one is sold by Sages Handmade on Etsy.

Bye, bye, baby girl. Good luck in your new home! I'm going to miss you, Jumper! And that's a wrap on the Connecticut chapter of Kitten Academy. Now that everybody has found homes, I can relax and enjoy the current momcat and her kittens. I couldn't really do that until now.

Mr. A of Kitten Academy is collecting Jumper, a black and white tuxedo kitty, for her final wave just before she is placed in a nearby carrier.

Jumper is on a green chair in a room with many windows. Mr. A is behind the chair, wearing a black t-shirt and glasses, leaning over it to pick Jumper up. Just outside the room to the right is another cat named Maggie. The adopters are wisely staying off camera.

Jumper, an absolutely adorable black and white tuxie kitten, is sitting in a windowsill looking up at a possible bird. We can't see it in frame so it may be a gnat or fly instead. This is a screen shot of Cloak by a discord member (is.a.Momo) from June 28, 2025. Cloak is sitting upright staring right at the camera. She is all black except for a tuft of white fur just barely visible that is under her chin on her chest. Her big round yellow eyes are wide open and look like they are from a cartoon.

Cloak is beautiful, sleek and small, only about six or seven pounds. She is estimated to be perhaps a year and a half to two years old at most. Cloak and her son Romper are a sweet adorable couple who ideally would be adopted together though either would be fine alone given appropriate introduction time and with patience. They would like a quiet household.

The cats still seeking adoption are: Cardigan, a regal black female who is about 9 months old. Jumper, an adorable and energetic black and white tuxedo female who is about 10 months old. Cloak, a hand shy love bug, and her son, Romper, a black and white tuxie boy. They are both shy and sweet.

Kitten Academy has a family of four lovely black panther kitties. The mother is Cape. The kittens are Poncho, Cardigan and Parka. Cape and Parka, I am happy to say, do have a confirmed adopter. Poncho and Cardigan are still looking for an adopter or foster. They are around 8-1/2 to 9 months old.

I went to the Discord community last night and mentioned I needed some good photos of a few of the kittens and by the end of the evening, one of the Discord members had created this new ad for Cloak, Tutu, and Romper. Aren't they cute?

This is an ad for three cats, Tutu, Romper, and their mama Cloak. It says "We are Tutu, Romper and Cloak (the mom). We like to play! We're a happy family. Apply to adopt us at kitten.academy/adopt." It features five photos. The first of Tutu sitting with her back to us but looking over her shoulder. We can see her gray back and black tail, ears and face. Blazer is a fun loving guy who loves to play and would love to have a friend or two in his home. He is gregarious and outgoing, and gets along with everybody.
