Baten Kaitos (2023 Remaster, Switch) Rating: 6.5/10 The music in this game is SUBLIME. The lighting, colors, and painterly backgrounds are often breathtaking. The new-age/mysticism is alluring. But: the writing is bland, it’s too long, and it’s tough! Only beat it cuz of quality of life settings. 😖
I am gooped. Gagged. They changed “Taintclouds” to “Toxiclouds” in the Baten Kaitos remaster! 😭😭😭 This is censorship! Taint erasure!! The noxious fumes of the Toxiclouds don’t hit quite the same as the funky musk of the Taintclouds. 😢
The way Gibari’s ass is reflected in the water is so beautiful. #nature #batenkaitos

Mr. Massagy (2018, PS4) Rating: 5.5/10 Homophobic to not have a single male character to date..? The writing is quite good - natural and humorous. It’s very short. I like the art style a lot. The idea of using your controller as a massager is a fun concept, but I’ll stick with my Hitachi wand.
My Name is Mayo 2 (2020, PS4) Rating: 5/10 A mild improvement from the first game. I enjoy the old-timey Americana aesthetic. It’s visually more interesting than the first game. Might be the first game to feature a butt plug? An absurd little oddity, but not one that I’d heartily recommend.
My Name is Mayo (2016, PS4) Rating: 3/10 It has some style and humor, so it’s not completely without merit. But also feels like a game that’s trolling you and intentionally wasting your time. Like that Penn & Teller game where you drive a bus through the desert to earn 1 point. 😅

Immortality (2024, PS5) Rating: 7/10 An interesting experimental FMV title from Sam Barlow (“Her Story”, “Telling Lies”). There are some unsettling and cryptic moments, and one really arresting sequence. But the game as a whole doesn’t add up to much. Some extremely hot men on display, at least. 😅
Eclectic Gaymer Fun Fact: When I played through “Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories” I dressed my dude up in this skin tight swimsuit and made him crawl through almost the entire game. 😅
Harvestella (2022, Switch) Rating: 7/10 Spectacular colors and environments. Exceptional score. Addicting, simple mechanics that had me playing for hours. Lots of secrets. What kills it: a boring script, endless quests, and a needlessly confusing plot. With better writing it coulda been a classic.
95 hours later, that’s a wrap on “Harvestella”. Do not believe the stats on howlongtobeat.com - it’s nowhere near a 45 hour game. 😮💨 I’ll share a review soon. I have mixed feelings that I need to process. 😅
