Something heady and surreal about being so close to it. Perhaps he is interested in Armand’s damage, if only in the potential for every revelation from Armand to absolve Lestat by comparison. He might be a mess, but he’ll never be that.
“So tell me about the last time, then,” he says. He circles the fine, round bone of his ankle. Armand breathes out in a slow stream.
“We fought. He knocked me into a wall. When I came to, his dick was in my mouth. He wasn’t fucking. Just… holding it there.” He makes a face. “Not the worst thing in the world, as these things go. Are you getting off on this?” he adds.
