I really don't need another social network and yet here I am spam accounts, bots and AI garbage = instant block Letterboxd:
no shade to Miranda Richardson, who is a fantastic actress, but come on, her Golden globe win for Enchanted April is so... smfh, especially when you see the competition 🤨
i was trying to rank all the Oscar winners for Best Actor i've seen so far (almost 70), but it's impossible because the amount of horrible/mediocre/problematic performances that have won in this category is baffling 🙄 so i just post the 20 winners i think are top-tier 🤷♂️
tbh if one of those ghoulish corporations end up buying letterboxd i'm gonna stop doing the #letterboxdfriday in the meantime here you go... #lastfourwatched
i said it and i'm gonna repeat it: Kyle Chandler is such a zaddy and he's aging like fine wine
Jane Fonda in Klute really deserves to be in the top-tier of Oscar winners for Best Actress
#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched 2 oscar winners for actress, the better version of My fair lady and John Gilbert having homoerotic tension with Robert Armstrong
great, now i'm not gonna stop picturing Lew Ayres as Clark Kent because of this image (courtesy of @zgkap.bsky.social)
the 4 Oscar winners in the acting categories from 1971 must to be one of the strongest groups ever, right? not a single bad performance, and even if not that fond of Johnson's gotta admit he delivered one killer monologue that secured him the win
this was the month i've seen the most movies (so far).... but then i saw a lot of garbage, including several Oscar winners 🙄 the better stuff i saw:
to my surprise i just realized i've already watched the Oscar winners for Adapted screenplay from the 1930s *Pasteur and Big house are original works and really had no business being nominated here, but whatever...
i was watching this movie with John Gilbert and then he takes his shirt off and i legit gasped 😳
