Delighted to have finished the latest cozy romantasy story by Sarah Beth Durst ❤️ I adore her books - every time I read one it feels like I'm being wrapped in a warm hug. This one was no exception! It was a beautiful journey of healing from trauma and learning to trust others. #booksky
Got around to celebrating my birthday (late) last Friday! This picture I think really captures my queer joy 🌈 I had been afraid to feel it for so long and this year has been incredibly life changing for me. I am so grateful for the amazing queer friends I've made and my partner's support ❤️
This one was real SPICY 🥵 But was also a really wonderful historical romance! There was great Caribbean and South American character representation in this story and many feminist themes which I appreciated. It was filled with strong women who fought for their independence and for love ❤️ #booksky
This was a fun queer retelling of the story of Camelot. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the Arthur and Guinevere characters and their constant jabs at each other. The side characters in this book were amazing and it made me laugh out loud more than once 😂 #booksky
I sat for my first session of my new tattoo today! I am getting a cowgirl witch and I am absolutely in love with her 🥰 Color will be done in a month or so, I am so excited!
I'm so thankful for all of the cozy sapphic fantasies I've found recently 🥰 This one was DND-coded and very cozy with an emphasis on planting and gardening. It had a NB main character which I always love to see and I liked the idea of leaving behind a life of wealth for one of happiness ❤️ #booksky
Finished this one last night - what a beautifully heartbreaking story 💔 This YA sapphic romance story was about coming out in 1950s San Francisco in the Chinese-American community. It examined racism, politics, homophobia and misogyny. But it also had a gorgeous love story woven into it. #booksky
Talk about LIFE CHANGING BOOKS... My God I don't even know how to process this one fully. It was a sapphic love story set in 1980s NASA against the historical misogyny of the space program. It was unbelievably beautiful and heartbreaking and interesting all at once. I am changed forever. #booksky
I really am finding myself really enjoying these sports romances 🎾 The rivals to lovers journey of Ines and Chloe was very sweet but I also appreciated that this book examined how women arhletes are treated in media. They deserve respect and privacy despite their careers. #booksky
I'm convinced at this point that I will literally read anything that Alison Cochrun writes... Her books are just amazing 🤩 This was a gorgeous story about queer self-discovery, grief, exploration and realizing it's never to late to find out who you are and what you want in life ❤️ #booksky
Just finished another incredible masterpiece of a book 😍 A cozy romantasy filled with magic, gardening, adventure and sapphic love. It was expertly written and really immersed you in the incredible story. I fell so in love with Clara and Hesper and am so thankful I got to read this one! #booksky
I've been on a magical/cozy sapphic book kick recently 🥰 This was a cute YA sapphic novel set in a magical town & follows the story of Monroe, a junior recruit at the Bureau of Magical Affairs as she solves her first case of love charms gone awry. It had the fake dating trope and was so adorable 😍
Recently finished watching A League of Their Own (show) and I'm pretty devastated they never renewed it for season 2 😭 I enjoyed seeing queer relationships set against a historical backdrop and the experience that Black women baseball players would face at the time. We need more shows like this ❤️
I seriously can't say enough good things about this book, it was just so incredible 😍 A cozy sapphic scifi story that gave me a permanently goofy smile which stayed plastered on my face the whole time I was reading. It had plant puns, moss, space travel... It literally is just the best ❤️ #booksky
Just finished this one - filled with adventure and treasure hunting and queer stories 🏳️🌈 It emphasized the importance of recognizing and honoring queer history and reminding the world that queer people have always existed ❤️ #booksky
Spent a few hours playing Hozy yesterday... Finished it in one sitting 😅 It was a fun and very relaxing cleaning/designing game that I felt that I really needed in my life right about now ❤️
Read another fun sapphic period romance, this one set in a steampunk-style Parisian milliner's shop 🎩 I enjoyed the love between two talented women from vastly different backgrounds learning to better understand each other and fight for what made them happy ❤️ #booksky
MY GOD it is going to take me a minute to fully proccess this one 😭 It was absolutely incredible, definitely one of my favorites for the year! Imagine a dating show in space with Hunger Games vibes but sapphic... The cliffhanger it ended on though 😱 Can't wait for book 2!!!! #booksky
Got a cute lil gay tattoo during a flash tattoo event at a queer bar tonight 🥰
What a magical queer journey this book was ✨🌈 This story was beautifully written and followed the story of two women destined to be sworn enemies in a battle against good and evil learning to face their biggest fears and reject the path history laid out for them in the pursuit of love 💕 #booksky
This one definitely strayed from the genre I usually read but I still enjoyed myself! This was a sapphic heist novel that kept me on my toes and at the edge of my seat the entire time. I always enjoy seeing rich people getting their shit stolen so this story was fun 😈 #booksky
This was such a cute one - a story about grieving and second chances and opening yourself to love ❤️ This definitely gave off Bridesmaids vibes story-wise and was such a blast. It examined addiction and the path to sobriety and was really emotional but was a beautiful iteration. #booksky
Just finished this really fun sports romance 😍 I loved the storyline of one night stand to forced proximity. Khadijah was a very Autism-coded character learning to put aside the need for control and checklists in order to fall in love and have a natural relationship. Also the spice was 👌🏻 #booksky
Stayed up super late last night to finish this one... I feel like it altered my DNA. This book absolutely deserves all of the awards and acclaim it has won over the years - it is beautifully written and dramatic and so real. I was shocked by the ending and found myself sobbing 😭 #booksky
Another incredible sapphic love story by @mazeyeddings.bsky.social! ❤️♀️ I adored this book - it examined compulsive heteronormativity and coming out journeys. Seeing these two friends coming to terms with their true feelings for one another was so incredible and emotional 😭 #booksky
Just DEVOURED this one! I could not put it down and finished it in just over a day ❤️ This one was so much fun to read - a modern queer retelling of A Midsummer Night's Dream that was so amazing and hilarious. It had wonderful NB representation which I loved to see! #booksky
For those who don't know I am a huge Pride & Prejudice fan so this one was absolutely thrilling! Such a beautiful sapphic story placed right in the middle of the Pride & Prejudice setting with some of my favorite characters. Floriography was a big part of the story too which I adored 🌷 #booksky
