Pansies planted a week ago and it’s 32 degrees in Philly. 😬 I love these sweet flowers.

For my circulars and my DPNs, I use the zippered bags that sheets and pillow cases come in. I keep them in order by size. The bags are perfectly sized for my needles. As for my overwhelming collection of straights, all bets are off. It’s a free for all. #knitting #knitsky

I did a thing. After plenty of frogging, needle size changes and even a pattern change, my #MeltICE (or as I like to call it #FuckICE) hat is finally finished! Malabrigo Rios, worsted weight. US size 7 needles, 18 sts= 4”. Pattern from Ravelry- Resist Fascism @amydrucker #knitsky #knitting 🫶🏼🧶

Using wool yarn that was labeled ‘worsted weight’, but it was knitting up too loosely on size 8 (U.S) needles, so I frogged it, dropped the needles to size 6 (U.S) and am using the DK directions. It’s knitting up nicely. 🫶🏼🧶 #knitting Oh yeah, almost forgot- F*CK ICE

Are these little cuties smaller than the small size chicken pattern? I only made the regular size chicken and I was all out of clucks by the time I finished it! My grandson created the color pattern. I think I could make these wee ones without losing my mind. 🫶🏼🧶🐔 #knitting

We have a rogue pumpkin plant growing at the edge of our front porch. It’s from last year’s pumpkin, that was used in a lawn decoration. The bees are LOVING the flowers!

I totally understand. Even my grandson’s Emotional Support chicken’s short rows caused me stress! I needed emotional support while I knit, lost track, frogged, reknit… 😂😂😂

My first (last?) Emotional Support Chicken is finished! 👏🏼 My 6 year old grandson ordered one when he saw a pic on my phone. I tried to duplicate his drawing’s colors, but fell a bit short. 🙄 He chose the head, neck, and chest colors last week and he was happy with the almost finished chicken. 🫶🏼🧶🐔

I’m safely home from the Philly #NoKings protest. It was peaceful and fun! A bit of drizzle, but it didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s spirits. This video gives me goose bumps. So thankful that the woman and her boyfriend acted quickly and bravely when they saw the other woman give the universal sign for help. Where’s the emoji for that?!! In a world full of crazy, this couple’s act of goodness provides a ray of light.

So many knitters, using stashes and knitting beautiful, uncomplicated emotional support chickens. I am not one of them. When my grandson colored this chicken pic (orange=red. He didn’t have a red crayon handy), I headed to Michael’s & bought new yarn. Now I’M the one who needs support! 🤪 #knitting

I’ve never been very good at organizing items in my knitting bag. I went to the Dollar Tree & found these little cuties- Cross body bags, $1.25. Now I can keep my knit gauge, needles/hooks, scissors, stitch markers together in one bag and move that bag from project to project. #knitting 🫶🏼🧶 #knitsky

Soooo I completed 2 pair of knitted socks today, with the help of a knitter at the a LYS (same place that I’m having trouble distancing myself from). As per the vow that I made to refrain from buying yarn until I had two FO, I went ahead and bought yarn for frog clothing. 😂🧶🐸 #knitting #knitsky
