I want to live in a world with less trauma and more love.
If political therapists existed (perhaps they do?) they might counsel us to cut off our abusive politicians, but the structure of our voting system and institutions prevents us from doing so.
Not being familiar with Leavenworth I searched, and uh, yeah this is Deutschland Disneyland.
Does his addiction to scavenging in tide pools put him at risk of evolving into a cetacean?
We don't have many open discussions about housing as a source of identity, but to me, the desire for luxury housing represents the same underlying urge as the desire for poor housing to be bland copies, occupied by people denied the ability to shape the place they spend most of their time.
I know little about Seattle housing, but here's a banner for housing, which—because it is publicly owned—can be permanently affordable, house a range of social statuses, and be designed for climate change. Unlike private housing, which may be temporarily affordable* exclusionary and ignore climate.
Looking forward to the next in your series where you detail how George Bush prevented 9/11 through painting.
It's called Odyssey Villas because the application process is a trip. An expensive and complicated means-testing program such as this requires a permanent office, equipment, staff. Creating a bureaucratic class whose job security is based on increasingly complex denials of housing to other people.
Imagine if you will, a similar map showing all the slave ships coming to America, holds full of shackled people stolen from their homes. Then this map of shackled people stolen from their homes, going the other direction. Why? What are we doing here?
This is funny because their core beliefs are that government makes rules people can't follow, that police are a threat to communities, consequences are out of proportion, and there's no accountability. These are massive foundational problems that cannot be incrementally reformed.
The Chrome browser has the capability to send checkout page content to a server so ai can scrape the total checkout amount? 😳
Keep in mind that everywhere ICE is, local police have succeeded in convincing you to stop caring about your neighbors. Zero ICE officers have been arrested. They assault, kidnap, imprison, kill, and they all walk free just like regular police. The destruction of our shared community is staggering.
I would like to forget about this image. Why are both guns pointing toward the word DIE? What kind of culture celebrates its women wanting to die? Why didn't these women want to live? If they want to die, why do they have to involve other people in it? Did they realize how utterly strange this is?
While it's easy to criticize the way fandom can stunt emotional/social growth, the same criticism can apply to religious communities (they also know the answers to their questions), or even musical group fandoms. In fact, even "How are you today?" is a question where the answer usually is ignored.
