I took an waxed amaryllis bulb that had been sitting in the basement for a few years and potted it. Earlier this summer it bloomed for the second time. After research, I figured out how to pollinate it and harvested seeds. Today, my project has come to fruition. BABY AMARYLLIS! #gardening

My first attempt at angel food cake. It was not an unmitigated success, but I'll take a mitigated success these days. Plus, the really stellar berries and whipped cream masked the biggest flaws. 😊
