It's genuinely stunning and a really well written slice of life. There's questions of gender throughout and exploration of it in an interesting way, it just feels a bit heavy handed in the trauma and almost like a trope. Highly recommend it regardless though. Ends up a powerful and lovely read.

Finished Boy Meets Maria. I'm conflicted on how this incredible one shot sits with me. On the one hand it had me laughing hard, almost teary eyed and genuinely loving the romance and ending. On the other, it's another gay story that doesn't just have them both dealing with trauma it's double trauma.

(Just a reminder no ai used, ewww who would?) Quite chuffed with how well I captured his bin-ness. Bonus colourful mini-Count for when I was figuring out where the shading was gonna go.

I don't know why I felt compelled to replace Genos with Count Binface in this Saitama manga page but he fits incredibly well. Anyways enjoy.

Given how good the DC x Sonic crossover comic was this is a surprisingly mid start to Sonic X Godzilla. It's good enough but Godzilla is only on the cover (this issue is Mecha and Mothra?) and it's bonkers short. 1 page past the halfway and To Be Continued? I'd expect that from a free comic. Meh

I'd forgotten about this. The made for TV miniseries/film Merlin is fantastic and well worth a watch. Remember getting the dvd for £1 from Tesco on a whim and being surprised nobody ever mentioned it.

We had one live under peanuts hutch for years. Managed to evict it but we still get the odd one in the garden from time to time. Tbf it went from this to this lol There's loads of shade and cold wet behind next doors shed, under the old hutches and under the 2 trees.

Bocchi the Rock! Side Story: Kikuri Hiroi’s Heavy-Drinking Diary Volume 3 despite having a daft title remains an absolute gem. Lighthearted and slice of life enough to surpass the manga it spins off from. Laughed louder than expected a few times and the art continues to be great. Highly recommend.

Such a disappointment. Cyberpunk Edgerunners Madness 1 is so ridiculously tropey in a generic way. It might make a good anime one day but there's panels where the guns aim at thin air, the characters are wafer thin and it's got the sentiment of a guy who thinks it's edgy to say "fuck" every 2 words.
