For several years now, I buy myself flowers every week and arrange them. I highly recommend it. For less than a meal out costs these days, I have so much brightness and joy.
It’s that “peaches for every meal” part of summer! And I am psyched.
I made a whole slab of pork ribs. This is said slab 5 minutes after husband and two young adult sons attacked it.
These are from eyebobs and I adore them. They are readers, but I got my normal prescription put in them because I love them.
Now I remember why I don’t make layer cakes very often. I got done and had to walk around the kitchen cleaning off all the handprints I left on cabinets, fridge door, microwave, …
I must admit, however, this Koons piece at Glenstone is my son’s second favorite piece in the world. It is covered in flowering plants in the summer and it really appeals to him. And I definitely love that guy. ;)

Solar panels deployed. Everyone is glad for a couple of warmer days!

Challenge: post your last photo taken in DC to show what a hellhole it is. (Although it always makes me feel like Orpheus coming up from hell).
Baby yard bunny has survived to be medium sized bun. Nice work little bunny! It is a dangerous world out there.
Baby birds screeching for service in laden blackberry bushes on a cloudless morning. Restorative.
