Finally getting a chance to dive into this, and feeling very smug for having twigged at the top of page 3 to the fact that [spoiler revealed on page 4]. Seriously looking forward to the rest of it. This is my first @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social book, but I'm certain it won't be my last.

I wanted to double check this one before posting, but I was right, they have Baby Carrie before they ever set off from The Big Woods - literally the first sentence of "Little House on the Prairie" Am I disappointed in this reboot? Yep. Am I going to continue to hate watch? Unclear right now. 5/5

Did you know that this is the first elderberry season with a tested safe elderberry jelly recipe? Because acidity levels can vary widely, there wasn't a way to guarantee safe canning before, but Ball canning labs now has a tested safe recipe available! The color is so dark, even in the sun.

Last weekend, I turned a pile of spare lumber bits and some wire into a catio. The kitties are very excited about it. Now to clean off the old outside cat house and water fountain and add them in.

My milkweed brings all the aphids to the yard, They're like, "It's better than chard!" That's right, it's better than chard, Can you tell me where the caterpillars are? 🌱

My Fourth of July Pie, which is a graham cracker and pecan crust, with a layer of chocolate ganache, covered with a white chocolate pudding, and then strawberries and blueberries for the flag design.

In previous years, we could count the number of figs on the tree. Last year was the first time we got over 100 figs. This year there are so many that we can't even count them. 🌱
