One of many pics taken at Kenilworth Castle on Sunday, this is my favourite one, taken in the ruins of the Elizabethan apartments built by Robert Dudley, during that time there would have been a huge body of water, now it's just lush green countryside. The Norman medieval great keep is a plus too.
One thing I really enjoy about medieval stained glass windows is depiction of birds, like this little chunky sparrow? People enjoying seeing birds never changes, only the style in which there presented. 15th century stained glass window at the Commandery museum Worcester.
Spent the day at Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Garden, I got some great shots on the camera and video camera.
When I visited, I chatted with some of the people working there, they basically said 8/10 people were there to see Richard's tomb, also the museum is great and very accessible for everyone. I always thought they would have done an effigy of him, like King John's tomb.
It's a good thing I spent the first 10 minutes explaining the background to the kingdoms in Britain during the Viking age. :L One other thing is how dogshit the AI reply is, they'll never be an AI that understands British sarcasm.

So I had a comment from a AI history channel on the Vikings in Scotland video saying "Great use of maps", I really wanted to be an absolute bastard towards them, because I hate AI history channels so much, everything shite about history YouTube in the last few years can be traced to them.
Fixed up the text of the previous map, however, I never want to research the kingdom of Strathclyde or early middle ages Scotland again, ugh.
Probably one of my proudest moments in my YouTube career is that my most female viewer video is on how promiscuous the medieval kings of England were.
Yawn, more AI stuff I don't want being bundled into my Google cloud, I just want a decent cloud service to back up all my stock footage and photos.

Something I had to draw for my latest video is an Iron age hill fort, I used some ones for example like Maiden Castle, Dorset.
Something I like to do in my maps is put little mermaids hidden in spots, that way I know if anyone has taken my maps.
Finally able to use the vast amount of photo's and videos I took on Lindisfarne for a YouTube video.
New map of England I've made, first time drawing just England and not the rest of Britain. Now to make it from the 9th century.
