Animal friends (badger, rabbit, squirrel, hedgehogs, mole, mice, & birds), gather to have a chat in a green meadow with flowers next to a construction site (perhaps to discuss the encroachment). Overhead, pink flowers bloom as birds listen to the conversation and participate.

There are four illustrations of Mole & Ratty enjoying a day of boating in Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows. All of them show different stages of the boating: from preparing to go on the shore, to painting the boats wood base, to enjoying the day out with a dragon fly overhead as they row, to rowing quietly underneath a huge green weeping willow and enjoying a beautiful day together as friends. The three artists are Moore, Shepard, & Dunn.
