Australia v Turkey at 5am UK time. I'm still on for the full 104, and I think I'm now fully nocturnal.
Staying awake until 3am for South Korea v Czech Republic? Absolutely had to be, it's the World Cup after all.
Passing through Victoria Station today on the ninth anniversary of the Manchester Arena bombing next door. The memorial is covered in tributes, with even more being added this morning. A beautiful day and beautiful tributes to remember such a horrendous and tragic event.
Second game of the weekend for me - a trip on the Jubilee and Windrush lines has taken me to Selhurst Park for Crystal Palace v Leeds. The Eagles could move into the top 10 with a win; Leeds could be six points clear of the bottom three with victory. Follow @ BBC Sport.
Premier League double header in London for me this weekend - starting with the late Saturday game between West Ham and Manchester City. Hammers will climb out bottom three if they avoid defeat; City will look to heap the pressure on Arsenal. Follow @ BBC Sport
Horses. Just big dogs really. Follow all the action from day three of #Cheltenham here: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/horse-...
Live coverage of day two of #CheltenhamFestival is going great, thanks. Follow here: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/horse-...
Big crowds to welcome the arrival of the England team bus at City Ground. This is the Lionesses' first home game of 2026, their first match in Nottingham since 2018 and their first fixture at Forest's stadium since 1994. So the fans in the city are making up for lost time.
Very pleased to be among the seven British writers on the AIPS Sport Media Awards 2025: Writing Best Opinion Column Longlist - www.aipsmedia.com/aips/pages/a...
Out of the Olympics pan and into the Lionesses fire, I'm covering England v Iceland in 2027 Women's World Cup qualifying this weekend for BBC Sport as @emsandersbbc.bsky.social is on her hols. Today we'll hear from Sarina Wiegman and Alessia Russo at Nottingham Forest's City Ground.
Three weeks ago, the Olympics in Milan started at Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena with Italy women v France. Today, they finish with Canada v USA for the men's gold medal. It is the final the neutrals wanted, let's see if it lives up to expectations.
Three times a period in ice hockey, they have a 'power break' - a chance for the ice to be cleaned, players to take a drink, and ads to be shown. Six volunteers clean the ice by skating in unison, pushing ploughs up and down the ice to smooth it out. Impressive and mesmeric.
At the #MilanoCortina2026 ice hockey, it is notable how loud ads tell you "One you have finished your Coca-Cola make sure to recycle the bottles." The Olympics bans on-field advertising; but IOC says: "We have given partners recognition without changing the nature of the Games."
If you were watching the #MilanoCortinaOlympics2026 men's ice hockey match between Sweden and Slovakia just now and wondering why the Slovaks were celebrating a 5-3 defeat - here's why
Forget Ilia Malinin for two seconds. This is Kazakhstan's first Winter Olympic gold medal since Lillehammer 1994, when Vladimir Smirnov won the men's 50km cross-country skiing. That was 10 years before Mikhail Shaidorov was born.
Tonight at the #MilanoCortina2026 figure skating, I was sat next to the guy who operates the spider cam and takes the aerial pictures. Amazing to see how it is done - he follows the action with a PlayStation controller and takes pictures with the shoulder buttons. Superb skill.
This is where the athletes will be sat rinkside waiting for their turn. Team GB's spot currently the only one equipped with a cushion
This is the view from the commentary box at Milano Ice Skating Arena - not ideal that, when sat down, you cannot see all of the ice. But we shall persevere - coverage of the team event, featuring GB for the first time since 2014, to come on BBC Sport .
Aww, well Milo the 2026 Olympic mascot is quite cute, so maybe I will get a plushie as a memen... HOW MUCH???
On brand for the flight to Milan - heading out today for the 2026 Winter Olympics; I'll be covering figure skating, speed skating and ice hockey for BBC Sport over the next three and a half weeks. If it's on ice (or about ICE?), then I'm your gal. #MilanCortina2026
The sound of the Proclaimers is pounding through Sheffield Arena. Which must mean Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson are warming up for their bid at ice dance gold later. The Disco Brits take to the ice at 9.34pm (I wasn't in the arena to record, so here's some footage of the ice dance from yesterday...)
Day three of the European Figure Skating Championships in Sheffield, and the first day of competition in the ice dance. Can Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson win gold for Britain? Side note: here's the pathway to the press box at Utilita Arena. Bit of a squeeze...
A view of the warm-up area at Sheffield Arena for the Figure Skating Euros. It is day two today, with the men's short program before the first medals are decided in the pairs free skate - watch on BBC iPlayer, my report to come tonight for BBC Sport
Day One of the figure skating Euros today, with the short programme in the pairs and women's to come. The ice dance starts on Friday, but already GB's Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson are the main event - you can get your picture taken with your face on their bodies...
Practice is underway today at Sheffield Arena ahead of the Figure Skating European Championships, as we count down to the #Milan2026 Winter Olympics. I'll be covering every day of the Euros for BBC Sport, keep across the action there and BBC iPlayer - and on my feed, ofc
My top 10 and bottom 10 films released in the UK in 2025. I saw 129 new releases this year (I have no life); narrowing down the best 10 was way harder than the worst list. I particularly agonised over the order of my top 2, very different but both outstanding films.
