This is the original "Wabi Sabi Heart". I've come a long way as an artist since I did this piece. This one was a true healing process, though, done shortly after my dog of 13 years had passed away.
"Kintsugi Heart" is a follow up to a piece that I did several years ago called "Wabi Sabi Heart". I decided to use an anatomical heart this time, but still broken and repaired in gold. The damage is still there. It always will be a part of us. But we put ourselves back together. #art #watercolor
