On Saturday, we were proud to take part in the 35th Annual Neighborhood Day at Onna Moniz-John Park! It was a meaningful day honoring those we’ve lost while celebrating our vibrant community. We love seeing this tradition continue to bring neighbors together. 1/2

Deporting and detaining immigrants in the U.S. is not only cruel, it’s also very expensive. The federal government is using OUR federal taxes to fund it. That is not how we want our hard earned income taxes spent. 1/3

The City of East Providence is hosting a Housing Forum where residents can learn more about housing policy in our city and state. If you have questions you'd like answered, please submit them to mpaddock@eastprovidenceri.gov with the subject titled “East Providence Housing Forum."
Join us Monday, June 8, from 6:30–7:30 PM at Riverside Library for our Community Education Series! This session features guest speaker Brenda Santos of the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. Brenda worked on the new proposal for the public school funding formula. 1/2
