Hi there, it's been a while. I've started so very many paintings lately, but I just haven't been finishing them. This one is kind of a new approach, a little different, and if its not done, its pretty close. Just need to know its name. "untitled" 30" x 40", acrylic on canvas
My agent, The Magnificent Mr Miso, is pleased with the progress being made so far on this current piece... even if it does cut into cuddle on the bed and play fetch with the toy time. Even with his limited visual color spectrum, he is a fierce judge of composition.
Been wrestling with this one for a while now, and finally completed it this weekend. I am not a religious person, more of an apatheist, but every painter takes a stab at a madonna once right? Even accidentally? Its a tradition. Madonna of the Garden 36" x 48", acrylic on canvas

My agent, pictured, is happy that I found a solid eight hours to spend uninterrupted in the studio. This is an unfinished work in progress, but it told me its name early on. 'How Close Can You Get Without Touching'. 30x40, acrylic on canvas.
Winter has been challenging, and I have had not much time in my tiny studio. My apologies for the dearth of posting. New paintings have been started, and hopefully the break will reenergize the work. Watch this space... Also:

This is a print I made a few years back. The sky is an orthographic map of my neighborhood, and the moon is a satellite map that linses up perfectly. The building is an iconic derelict coal tower. 16" x 20", satin photo paper. Edition of 50.
If I spent half as much time thinking about why I make art as I do making it, I would probably be a little more successful getting it out there. My house is filling up, and little tiny jpegs don't do them justice. "Phantasm" 36" x 48", acrylic on canvas.

Meant to further develop the squares idea, but the brushes had other plans. I sometimes fear that I have no identifiable 'style'. Oh well, so it it goes. I suppose the important part is to just keep making, & trust that it will all sort itself out. "Ghosts in the Grass" 30" x 40", acrylic on canvas

It was a doing cat dad stuff morning. The Marvelous Mr. Miso assumed his safety post and scanned the vet's office for interlopers. An intruder was identified, but was later determined to be non-threatening. All in all, everyone was very brave.
Data as seen as an asemic written language that we are falling helplessly through; a harrowing yet colorful state of affairs. The bad news is that you too are falling, the good news is there is no ground. All 24" x 30", acrylic on canvas.
