Woot! I got my copy of Kiki’s delivery Service and Kiki and the New Magic.
Yesterday, I went to the @joshuakitz.bsky.social popup store in the ByWard martket and got Ion Heart and Ring Master. Great conversation too. If you are in Ottawa and enjoy #ttrpg , go to the ByWard market and stop in the Compose Dream Games store.
OblivAeon of @greaterthangames.bsky.social ‘s Sentinels of the Multiverse may have destroyed the multiverse but at least we got cake for my friend’s birthday party. :)
Woot! I got my backer copy of @j-k.games ‘s Mutants from the Archives. #ttrpg I’m gonna have to roll-up for mutants. :)
I also purchase a used copy of Faces of Thedas by @greenroninpub.bsky.social I already had a pdf copy but now I have a physical copy which will be useful for my ongoing campaign. #ttrpg
At CanGames, I purchased 3 of 4 winners of the Canada Roles awards. A friend had given me the 4th one. A Fool’s Errand (best visual design) Dirtbags! (best rules design) Sock Puppets (best one shot and short form) The Field Guide to Floral Dragons (best scenario or supplement design) #ttrpg
I’m sorry for the late response to this. Here are 4 double pages. A random selection.
28. Blood, Sweat & Steel. It’s a sword & sorcery rpg using the Fudge system. I enjoy Fudge rpg & this one has an interesting take. #ttrpg
27. Sig: Manual of the Primes #ttrpg a fantasy game by local designer & friend, @genesisoflegend.bsky.social . It’s inspired by the Planescape D&D setting & deals with philosophical questions on reality. It’s delicious. :)
26. Brindlewood Bay #ttrpg I played a playtest game during the lockdown & had fun. I enjoy the improv mystery aspect as it lets everyone discover.
Woot! I got my backer copy of All the Cardinal’s Men by @nightfall.games
25. The book of Random Tables: Modern. I love random tables for #ttrpg they are a great source of inspiration. You can roll or pick something fhat attracts you. I got thins to inspire me for a Mutants in the now game that I ran. It can be used for any games set in contemporary times.
24. 2024 Quest Calendar #ttrpg it’s a day calendar with an ongoing campaign. Each day takes about 5-10 min to play. @mryddian.bsky.social & I played it in 2024. It was fun but after a while it got repetitive. We need to finish it as we left off in December.
23. Musketeers vs. Cthulhu. #ttrpg I enjoy mash-ups, musketeers & Cthulhu. I haven’t read this book yet but it uses the Call of Cthulhu system.
22. Nobilis is a beautiful #ttrpg book. The game is diceless & you play new gods fighting an existential war. I ran it decades ago & didn’t know what ai was doing. I feel now I may do a better job.
21. Mutants in the Now #ttrpg This is a modern game inspired by TMNT & Other Strangeness with current tools & sensibilities. Great fun to create characters. Mutants in the Next is an expansion book with many options.
20. Star Trek Adventures #ttrpg I’m running a campaign set after the Dominion War as the group explore the Shackleton Expanse using a new Luna class ship.
19. Dragon Age #ttrpg i’m running a campaign set during the Mage-Templar War with the PCs being all rogues @museywrites.bsky.social & @mryddian.bsky.social are in that game. I’m having fun with the stories we make.
18. Traveller (Mongoose 1st edition). This is a great sci-fi #ttrpg i’m running the 2nd edition in a space sector that I created. Rules are simple & modular. Plus, it is diagetic where game traits can be referred by the characters.
17. Pigeon’s Eleven is a silly heist game. Yes, you are birds. Just normal birds. I haven’t played this #ttrpg but I need to bring it to the table.
16. Perilous Void is a wonderful book for space sci-fi #ttrpg i’ve been using it for both my Traveller & Star Trek Adventures campaigns. Full of tables to give you prompts to inspire you.
15. Tail-End Charlie is a solo #ttrpg in regards to World War II. I haven’t played it yet. Scheduling rpgs is hard even for solo rpgs. :)
14. Universr at Your Door: The Traveller is a solo #ttrpg about space travel. I haven’t played it yet but maybe after finishing Koriko.
13. Mappa Mundi is a non-violent #ttrpg of exploring while creatures. I haven’t played it but it’s a beatiful game plus the theme fits my interest. I should bring it to the table soon.
12. An Infinity of Ships is a great resource for space sci-fi #ttrpg i plan to use it for my current Traveller campaign. Lots of tables to describe & name ships. Many of them are silly & weird which pleases me.
11. King’s Festival is a D&D scenario which I’ve run before. It’s for BECMi or Rules Cyclopedia. The time when dwarf and elf were classes. It’s a simple dungeon. I’ve even run it using Scarlet Heroes, a duet #ttrpg
