Reading a novel... Jane Smiley's account of life among the Free Staters in Bleeding Kansas in the decade before the Civil War. It came out in the late '90s. (There's a sequel out now that I'll want to read next.)
This is a hive mind question. (I'm off work today). Does anyone know how to get rid of this "Upgrade" button in my personal Gmail inbox?
We don’t usually see each other’s headers. Here’s mine. Quote skeet with yours if you feel like it.

This is a really local (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin) question. Back in 2019 or so I came across a building there - some kind of a senior citizen facility - that was using the Unitarian Universalist logo. It wasn't a church and I'm not even sure it had UU affiliation. Does anyone know what it is/was?
From my story for Milwaukee Magazine in 2010 on Milwaukee as a model railroad mecca... www.milwaukeemag.com/ChooChooCrazy
Oh, God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son" Abe said, "Man, you must be puttin' me on" God said, "No" Abe say, "What?" God say, "You can do what you want, Abe, but The next time you see me comin', you better run" Well, Abe said, "Where d'you want this killin' done?" God said, "Out on Highway 61"
Wow! Exclusive! I have no idea how I get on some of these mailing lists....
