Hopefully this much shorter clip will look a little nicer. I just love how fast it throws all these mechanics at you, but it's still eminently readable as you're playing. It looks more impressive than it is. I'm curious what real expert play would look like.
Okay here's a thing that's good to report: Denshattack is as rad as everyone is saying it is. It's a fascinating hodgepodge of skateboard game mechanics, endless runner mechanics, and some light burnout/rhythm-y stuff, but really it's the game's unrelenting energy that sells it.
Turning it off mostly just underscores the game’s performance issues, though It’s playable but it’s surprisingly choppy given that the Switch 2 can handle Star Wars Outlaws and Cyberpunk okay
I’m actually impressed with how many display options the game has for a console demo
The demo for Disgaea Mayhem has some of the most weirdly aggressive, nauseating motion blur I’ve seen in years
It's interesting to me how one of my favorite parts of Corpus Edax was the way the game went full physical comedy with its ragdolls and it was The Most Right Choice, but like one out of three kills in Better Than Dead does that and it is The Wrongest Choice given its tone
capitalism really out here trying to get kids to ask for a “netflix stranger things funko pop kinder egg”
Literally the argument is that the margins aren't high enough. It's just ghoulish.
Did a quick vpn test and confirmed BlueSky is age gating in Texas now for some reason
Meanwhile Disney's most recent face projected animatronics were so bad they got replaced with the much better real face animatronics from the other parks
Why is there a face-projected animatronic stuck in a timeloop in a scene surrounded by dead pirates not in a timeloop? It isn't for narrative purposes. One has to assume it's because Epic Universe opened with Victoria Frankenstein last year, who is a face-projected animatronic.
like tell me talking about how good this hiding spot is doesn't sound like a good time instead i have to talk about how liberal democracy sits on a fuckin' knife's edge like some sort of stick-up-his-butt nerd
I love when 868-Back makes me feel like a genius completely by accident
The whole description of this game is hard to parse and feels like a forum rant, but I feel like devs would get a kick out of this paragraph
My favorite part is when all these people gave you a cavalcade of sources and instead of sitting with that and changing your mind you made a bad faith pissbaby subtweet instead
To be clear, all of this makes more sense when you view this through the lens of "Unreal is the engine/renderer, Fortnite is the store/platform, the games are just Content."
Who wants to tell Tim about Discord existing or what happened when NFTs tried to claim this sort of functionality The man is terminally high on his own farts
One of the brightest emergent spots in indie game circles in the past two or three years have been so-called "friendslop" games, and a lot of them tend to do quite well. Meanwhile titles like Concord and Highguard get funding cut from on high. But sure, Tim. People never try new multiplayer games.
