Did you know? Epoch released two versions of the Super Casette Vision? One was a general release in 1981 and then in 1985 they tried to target the female demographic with a subtle variation.
3rd party tool and app highlight: HandheldExp (Android only) Adds an ingame menu similar to the ES-DE user interface to display game information, view its manual, quick save and quick load for supported emulators, and more. github.com/Teppichseite...
Game of the weekend: A hidden gem of a point and click adventure with a great visual style. It was one of the best game on the DS to use the "Book Grip" playstyle. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (NDS)
Another thing that just takes time is updating all the dependancy libraries we use on the multiple platforms. Checking and testing these to make sure they dont brng in any changes that break things is perhaps one of Leons least favourite things.
Next up we have added support for video scraping from thegamesDB. This is a new feature for thegamesDB and im sure they would appreciate the help to populate as many as possible. Simply go to: thegamesdb.net Find the game Click edit and upload the video (at bottom)
Apologies for the silence - had some time away to refresh. Kept Leon working hard and he's been productive. I'll share some progress over the next week as a sneak peak of what to expect in 3.5.0 First up: For dual screen devices - pick what screen emulators or games launch on.

Game of the Weekend: Lets go a little outthere in the choice. Imagine if you played tetris with the same premise, create a line to clear it but instead of using square blocks you use triangles? Pyramid (1992)[Watara Supervision]
Happy Birthday to one of the best LCD games ever! Game and Watch: Octopus (1981) 45 years old today

Something we are often asked is why we dont have separate systems for things like Wiiware or XBLA etc which we feel are essentially just store formats and not systems. This doesnt mean you cannot have them as custom systems or as a subfolder within the system like here.
Game of the Weekend: To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the movie that introduced non-americans to this National holiday we celebrate the awful awful game that accompanied it (nearly a year later) Independance Day (1997) [Windows/PSX/Saturn]
Do you think all kids were as excited as this little guy when they were given this console?
(mini)Game of the weekend: A simple yet fun minigame that was originally included with DS release of Mario 64 (which is overlooked for minigames). Premise is simple - find the character. WANTED! - Mario64 DS minigame Only one image so i only spoil one level.
FIFA World Cup in games: The last one ill look at was available on the SNES and MD/Genesis and the host was the same as the current one. World Cup USA'94 Play it - it has guys kicking a ball around!
FIFA World Cup in games: As a non football (or soccer) fan i only owned one game of this type, part of Mega Games I on the Megadrive it was bundled with the console along with Columns and Super Hang On. World Cup Italia '90 It was at least better than X-Perts (IYKYK)
FIFA World Cup in games: This world cup marks 40 years of official FIFA World Cup Games. Which is surprising considering the first one was rushed rebrand of an existing game. It was recieved poorly especially the ZX Version. Can you spot the differenct between the C64 and ZX?
Many people ask us about game hacks as systems individual system but nobody ever asks us for bootlegs as individual systems which is strange. Who doesnt want a collection of games like World Heroes 2? Sonic vs TMNT Vs Mario Vs Final Fight Vs Street Fighter?
Game of the weekend: 1942 (Arcade/Nes) An early vertical Shooter and still lots of fun. It has ports for many systems including gameboy colour and android.

Little Reminder: Setting up badge information on games makes many themes that little bit better and presents you, the user, with more information at a glance.
Game of the Weekend: A true gem for its multiple game styles within one game, third person action, rail shooter and even driving chaos. The best part is each game style tells one part of the trilogys story. Die Hard Trilogy (1996)[PSX]
How old were you when you realised Ooccoo from Twilight princess is the hex code of Links Tunic from Ocarina of Time artwork? Ooccoo = 00CC00
