Started running late. Slow too.
I can’t think of anything wrong with that idea in the moment. You might be on to something! There needs to be consequences though…
Horribly unfit at the moment but managed to enjoy myself at the Porthcawl 10K this morning. Jogged round* with the 70-minute pacer until the last 2K when I scorched** past them. *barely kept up **laboured
This feels like a trick question question though. The biggest human crime generators I can think of right now are the polar opposite of poor and deprived.
Better this morning at #parkrun but still too pigging hot for me #delicateflower
Don’t be a spoilsport, it’s not like there have been any deaths from centipede bites. Sorry, any confirmed deaths from centipede bites
A moist and humid, er, me, at Three Brooks parkrun this morning. Going to retire for the rest of the weekend, the heat and I do not get on.
Well good question. Here is the official answer, not sure I’m any better off having read it. I don’t think I see a lot of correlation with how a run feels and the score, though TBF this morning’s run did feel good, even with all the hills
Don’t look at the pace, look at the elevation. One hundred and eleventy percent efficient, not my words, the words of the COROS app. I did not feel very efficient huffing up those hills #running #runningpunks
Great Bristol Run (10K). Have wanted to do this one for a while but dates never worked out. Wasn’t up to a full effort so ran to heart rate. A pretty good time for me and crucially all gaskets still intact. Great atmosphere all the way round, would recommend
Local not available today so I went NENDY-hunting at Brickfields Park #parkrun. Took it easy-ish as I’ve inadvertently* booked a 10K tomorrow. Nice course, bit hilly but that’s Bath. *got my dates cocked up. Thought it was 4 weeks after my marathon, not 3. Sure it’ll be fine.
Officially spotted more lizards in a 40-minute walk in Rest Bay, Porthcawl this morning than in the rest of my life put together (outside of some kind of Lizard Containment Centre)
The third-placed guy would have also broken the old world record too - but he was soooo slow, not being sub-2, so we don’t speak about him.
6 minute PB, so yes a PB’s a PB so shouldn’t complain but OMFG that was hard. Hardly ever get cramp and both my calves and my right hamstring all taking it in turns. Hardly ever get blisters but got a beaut that I would post here but I don’t want to get banned #running #runningpunks #newportmarathon
