My legs are driving me mad. I got feasted on by mosquitoes while taking photos in Rattray Marsh. I count 50+ bites on the front side of my legs alone! And they caused an allergic reaction. I look like a pink Dalmatian! 🤭 It itches so badly, it’s difficult to fall asleep.

Hibiscus at Dawn Photo taken with a 1977–1979 Meyer-Optik Görlitz Domiplan 50mm ƒ/2.8 on a 25–55 mm helicoid. Some people think this is a poor lens, but I think it’s highly underrated. Probably one of the best Cooke triplet lenses after the Trioplan.

I was invited to this Reddit community (first image), which does seem nice and wholesome, but the background colors are overwhelming to my senses! If it looked like image 2 or 3, I would gladly join. This is one of those rare times where my autism does feel constraining.

I lost my Fitbit last week. Today my new one arrived, and it happens to perfectly match the dress I’m wearing!

So happy to have spotted a Monarch butterfly again! Such a rare sight nowadays. It was flying around in the Royal Botanical Gardens. It didn’t appreciate me getting close with my Helios-44-2, so I ultimately captured it with a longer lens, the TTArtisan 100mm ƒ/2.8.
