Heavy winds possible tonight. Not sure how to protect these little dudes from such fierce weather. Hoping they make it.
It keeps getting better! 6 vines showing out of 9 seed potatoes planted. Getting bigger each day!
It’s a backyard miracle. Some of the seed potatoes are sprouting! A few broken pecan shells are showing up in the beds. I love our little squirrels but hope they stay away from the new plants. #gardensky

Mmmmm! My favorite fruit is in season. If you’ve never tried rambutan, do it! Forbidding on the outside, sweet and juicy when peeled. Yum!

I’ve been worried about my little garden. After a strong start, many of the plants are wilting and dying. Then I remembered the African violets I was gifted. The first one died a miserable death, and I bought another, then was given two more. They have flourished for years. It will be ok.
Apparently the cats are now lining up the bodies of their vanquished conquests.
