Love y'all! Astrophotography. Music. Walking/exercising. Cooking. Content creation. Universal semi-direct democracy. Good labor unions. Tax religious groups fairly. And encourage pick up sports games
Instead of posting thoughts on a device or online. Going back to paper and pen tonight. Doing it at 10pm at a Dennys too. While ordering a soup and water. See if can help a more hybrid or offline trend. The internet and digital may actually not be forever.
Yeah. The late 2000s-2010s may not have been as bad so far as the 2020s. But still not a good time overall. The seeds to modern era issues were laid then. Just it's almost been 20 years. The next couple of years probably will be really interesting to say the least.
Still not posting new songs online because of Ai. Co-wrote this one back in 2024. Finally relearned it after not memorizing it. Enjoy!
At a coffee shop at 1am. Closes at 2am. But if I lived in the Koreatown section of LA. And couldn't sleep. Good spot to come to. Called Awesome Coffee.
Went to a retro video game store in North Hollywood called Game Dude. Really liked the vintage advertising posters from 20-30+ years ago!
Getting coffee with my bro Tim. And friend Shareef. Shareef and I first met remotely doing Twitter activism back in 2021-2022. Just as awesome in person!
Hopefully later this year or early 2027. The Ohio intercity bus, the GoBus, can expand it's routes and frequency. So I can get to more open mics around the state. Even if i do move to California eventually. Still want to leave it better for the next person.
When you get asked by zoomers about 1990s Mortal Kombat movies CGI.
Like I used to do when I was younger. Books/graphic novels I found in my room I plan on reading when flying from Cleveland to Long Beach and back next month. For sure instead of seeing Ai on social media planning on reading literature more.
Watching Mexico Vs South Africa in the World Cup with a buddy in Long Beach.
Getting lunch with friend @lynrajahmusician.bsky.social in Long Beach!
At a barber shop on 10th Street in Long Beach. Playing the Smiths. A lot of indie or counter culture pictures. And books about British rock music/Indie. Very cool.
Trying out the Long Beach run club. Tho I don't run anymore. Want to see how it goes.
Got a basket and bell/horn attached to my Long Beach bicycle today. Should come in handy for grocery shopping. And small to moderate transport stuff.
Currently at the Cleveland airport. First flying to Las Vegas then Long Beach. First time flying alone since 2005. So far so good. Also interesting how when I started flying a lot more around 2022. I would bring a bunch of music and video production gear. Trying something new
It may be in the low 40 degrees F in my area. But how i look after bicycle riding for 20 minutes.
Mainly because of Ai I think making my gear and laptop more clunky with lags in streaming. Lack of events to get more experience. And not enjoying it like I used to (tho found new hobbies). First year for me with no event live streaming since 2017. These clips from last year.
$349,000 you can have a large and historical church in my hometown in Ohio. I have performed in converted churches to music venues in nearby towns. Just also thinking of how much more you have to pay for smaller spaces elsewhere.
