My maternal grandmother coming over from Poland on the Bremen in 1918. She lived in Yonkers. She went back at some point and then lived through WWII in Poland. She is the beautiful woman with her hand bent. When I knew her she never said a word.
Like you, looking forward to flushing the Trump name down the toilet.
Reminds me of this...saw this at the Warsaw Uprising Museum in Poland a couple weeks ago...
needed to get into the garden today...took my mind off all that's going on
made it to to Horseneck Beach before the end of the summer and then here to Gooseberry Island right around the corner.. suddenly this week it's cold in the morning and no more days in the 80's the sun is lower in the sky and it's dark when i wake up love the changing seasons
reminds me of an item i saw at the New Bedford (MA) antiques place i occasionally frequent...
a reminder there are dandelions growing through cracks in the sidewalk. there is a fence lizard on the porch growing a new tail. there are trees growing through an abandoned house, branches tearing through the ceiling, ferns carpeting the floor. there is life pushing forward, pushing through.
