@rosemarycrow.bsky.social On 10th April 1912, the Pietanic embarked on its maiden voyage from Wigan Pier to Parbowd. Unfortunately, several hours later, as it passed the Navigation pub in Gathurst, the ship sank. This is the only existing footage of the Pietanic.
