Halfway through the week. My body is not used to this anymore but we're getting back in routine

Not my personal cup of tea but my wife's most listened to artist of last year (Alex Warren) is in town so I had to get us tickets. I will say even though his music isn't for me, id love to see this dude in a musical. I think he'd be fantastic

Second post msh league was a disappointing 2-3 with phoenix/fantasticar hybrid. The deck oscillated between wildly broken and unplayable. I was very unsure on how aggressive to mulligan because you want the broken hands but you need the cards. Excited to try more stuff this weekend

First post msh league was a fun one with the less broken Fantastic Four card: council of reeds. Didn't get to live the double emry dream, but the card was a pretty cool and quick clock. Bread and butter 3-2 but sharing because I think it was cool and improvable. list in alt

Today is the anniversary of one of my fav mtg memories. Its sunday morning and I play (and win) the very delayed finals of an scg con 5k that we started on Friday. I then pass off my deck to my friend Rodney who wins the sunday 5k. Good weekend.

Til that Marvel has made a comic in which Trump joined AIM and becomes a MODOK variant and this is so funny to me. The funny (tragic and depressing) thing is they didn't even need to come up with a villanous plot. He just does the same stuff he does irl.

Update: store had never run an rcq so I had to help a lot at the start. Thankfully they called a friend to come judge (which still meant I had to help, but much less). Opened a sick gw deck. Drafted a less sick gw deck and died in top 4. First deck pictured below

I saw three of these artists in concert this year so this list makes sense. Also every year when they list how many genres I listened to, I wonder, how is that even possible?!

Visiting my parents for the weekend and they had planned a night with some live music. Guess I know where I get it from. Was pretty surprised they wanted to go to a folk festival but we saw a funk band so it all makes sense now
