Prototype (2009) Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, but expanded upon as an original IP. Great in theory, but relies so much on cheap off-screen attacks and stunlocking in late game. Final few missions become slogs from needing to heal/retreat. Quit when the game crashed after a mid-mission cutscene.

Yakuza 0 (2017) Enjoyed my 2nd playthrough more. Mr. Shakedowns are much less scarier now and become my personal ATMs. Didn’t do all substories like I did on PS4 bc of reliance on RNG/repetitive minigames. Used the cabaret club grind skip mod bc I’m still burned out of it from my 1st playthrough.
Did the grid thing. Not much of a multiplayer guy, so my “Best With Friends” pick is based on how close to perfect DoR2 is, but has broken AI that tends to either zone out, input-read, or gang up on you in free-for-alls

Rubato (2026) A fun 2D collect-a-thon with a grab-bag of late-90s aesthetics peppered throughout, with the kind of wacky humour I love. It has a surprisingly deep, dark turn toward the end, which while solid on its own, can come off as a whiplash, while the pacing suffers with it at late game.

GOAT (2026) Hits the beats of a sports movie, but is a great time. Love the details put into the designs around the teams & fans. Modi is my fave, and not in a thirst way (though I love how it leans into that), he’s hilarious. Missed opportunity to not have the Sand Storms’ city be called Darude

Lil Gator Game: In the Dark (2026) A really good expansion of the original, with new items + abilities including heavy clubs that have the lil guy do Kuuenzans throughout the caverns. The endgame was surprisingly emotional, in a good way.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (2005) A still-fun open world game that focuses on causing havoc w/ creative moves, sets the basis for the Prototype games and even superhero games in some respects. Most story missions are pick X up and bring it to the hideout, but campaign isn’t too long.
