My Seagal watch continues with his 7th feature and only (?) sequel, 1995's UNDER SIEGE 2. #NowWatching
Not entirely convinced that any of the labels (Arrow? Imprint? Shout?) releasing the Golden Princess films will ever get around to the likes of EVIL CAT, VAMPIRE'S BREAKFAST, RETURN OF THE DEMON, or RED SHIELD... but if they do, someone please consider/suggest me for an essay!
Moving on to a rewatch of Seagal's 6th feature, his infamous directorial debut, his heartfelt cry for Mother Earth, his urgent slice of eco-action, his earnest question about what it takes to change the essence of a man. I'm obviously very excited. #NowReWatching
I trust you'll be including his Oscar winners for best lead performance and best supporting performance. Masterpieces, both.
Time to revisit Roland Emmerich's best Independence Day movie. #NowReWatching #4kuhd
Time for Steven Seagal's 3rd feature, one i recall really liking back in the day. #NowReWatching
Joan Fontaine, my first b&w cinema crush, was the only actor to win an Oscar for a Hitchcock film. She won for SUSPICION, but she's probably at her best in IVY, REBECCA, THE BIGAMIST, and CASANOVA'S BIG NIGHT.
Watched a recent interview with Steven Seagal from his condo in Dubai, and while he's still a douche and a windbag, it left me wanting to revisit his filmography. In release order. I'm going to regret this, but for now at least, I'm starting with a great one. #NowWatching
It's me. The last person to see OBSESSION. Huge fan of De Palma's original, so it has an uphill battle ahead of it. #NowWatching
Finally completing the original RRR -- the three Gary Daniels/PM Entertainment films that start with the letter R -- love RAGE, love RECOIL, and #NowWatching
