Explain it to me why, of all the delectable boozy beverages in the world, Asda's only alcoholic flavour frozen treat is just a pack of "cider" lollies? Pina Colada and Mojito would have got me more interested.

I thought we wouldn't be able to see this because of houses in the way, but I'm standing in my kitchen cooking tea and hubby is using binoculars to project the partial eclipse.

This is Aquapigeon. S/he is getting their money's worth out of their bird bath membership by sitting in it for hours of every day, for months, now. All this bird needs is a kazoo and it would be a duck.

You can view this post as a distraction from the rest of the timeline if you wish *bows* but I saw CMAT at Scarborough open air theatre on Saturday and she was incredible to hear and to watch and also funny and entertaining. No wonder she has superfans. Audience aged 6 to 86, all raucous 11/10

Good morning one and all. My pics from my Sunday walk in the Dales where we saw many lapping, curlew, meadow pippets, and one shrew. Also grouse, and we wished them well, despite their date of doom being displayed on this butt.

Daytrip to Cleethorpes yesterday and I have a new favourite motorway services - Doncaster North near Thorne. Everyone needs a favourite motorway services, right? If you pick Teebay or Gloucester, you're being too obvious.
