Tammer's Wasteland Workshop
@fallout
I make mods for Fallout: New Vegas. AKA mc_tammer, or user826. Please – no requests, suggestions, or ideas. My mods are offered as-is with no warranty or guarantees, and tech support is discretionary.
♫ Don't need no credit card to ride this train... ♪ I gave the flaming katana a heart-shaped tsuba and officially renamed it The Power of Love. It does 10 base damage, plus 2x your Charisma bonus damage, and sets targets on fire.
Here's a pretty simple flaming katana that I'm calling Righteous Fury. I'm debating whether it should be a literal fire weapon (in which case, it's just a Shishkebab), or if it should be more metaphorical, and have a different effect (possibly related to Karma?)
Update: I added a hook and slot to imply that's how the magazine latches into the gun, and also added pogo pins and electrical contacts, to imply that it's electrically-ignited. I also added a rudimentary front sight, but you can't see it in this photo.
The Sublimator is a unique, Metal Storm-type shotgun that fires sixteen pellets per trigger pull and will insta-gib anything on crit, or if that thing is within 4.5 feet of you. Sublimation (Chemistry): When a solid transitions directly into the vapor state, completely bypassing its liquid phase.
Yeah, yeah, I'm super-late to the party with this Elysium-inspired AK, but after releasing an exoskeleton in the last Armor Mega-Pack, I figured it was time to follow up with one of these. This will be a unique weapon that fires explosive bullets, in a nod to the airburst munitions from the film.
Here's a nice, simple re-tool of the pseudo-VSS Vintorez into a pseudo-AS Val. Its stats will basically be identical, other than firing full-auto. I'm wondering if I should give it the 20-round mag by default, expandable to 30, or if that would make it OP.
Normal guns are all well and good, but I could make those in my sleep. I need to go weirder before I even start to feel anything anymore. And that's why you don't do drugs, kids.
I recently picked up an AAP-01 airsoft gun -- basically a made-up design that takes a Ruger action and slaps it onto a Glock frame. It's legendary for being one of the most moddable pistols in the hobby. This is my impression of my current setup as an actual gun, chambered in 9mm.
I switched out the jacket on the Outlaw Jacket for the one from the Kings Outfit, because I felt the original looked too similar to the Privateer Outfit. I made the jacket open-front, as well as removing the epaulets and turning down the collar, and replaced the Stealth Suit with the NCR shirt.
I made the Longslide .45 Auto Pistol moddable by adding a laser sight, mounted old-school style by clamping onto the trigger guard, like we had to do back in the days before Picatinny rails became a standard feature on pistols.
This gun is based on the Silverballer from the Hitman franchise, and is intended to complement the pseudo-WA 2000 in a new challenge. I'm not sure if this is special enough to be a unique, or if I should just make it a generic "Longslide .45 Auto Pistol"
I modeled a ZF4 scope for the Paratroop Rifle, and made the 20-round mag a mod as well. The default mag capacity will be lowered to 10 rounds.
This FG42-inspired Paratroop Rifle took me three days to make, and now I'm tired... "We do this not because it is easy, but because we THOUGHT it would be easy." (Demo vid in the comments)
I shortened the default magazine on the Dynamic Entry Carbine so that the longer one can be a mod. I also gave it a red dot sight and suppressor (Loud to Normal, not Silent)
So, this gun ended up going in a VERY different direction from where it started. I originally wanted to unbullpup an ASh-12/ShAK-12, but one thing led to another and I ended up with this very ComBloc-coded 12.7mm Sterling SMG, essentially. (Vid in the comments)
After my mad un-bullpupping spree, I wanted an easy one next. The True Norther is a unique Marine Service Rifle, modeled loosely after the Canadian Forces' C7. It provides a disposition buff, and passively heals your party during combat (Free healthcare for all!)
"I warned you kids to settle down, but you had to go and made me un-bullpup your FAMAS too! Are you happy now?!" The Foreign Legion Assault Rifle is my take on an un-bullpuped FAMAS F1. It also kind of looks like the Gundam Alex's beam rifle from Gundam 0080.
"If you kids don't settle down right now, I WILL un-bullpup your WA 2000! Don't test me!" This sniper rifle was initially inspired by the Rhineland R3000 (itself an un-bullpupped WA 2000 lookalike, built on an AR chassis), but I decided to make the details look more like the original source rifle.
I made a new reflex sight for the General-Purpose Machine Gun, based on the Canadian-made Elcan C79 optical sight. To the best of my knowledge, the reticle with its vertical post, ranging stadia, and tritium highlights is correct. (Vid below)
I made some mods for the Toggle-Lock Pistol, as shown here. It can now be suppressed, given an extended barrel, and fitted with a 32-round snail drum mag. In real life, the drum mag is offset to the left, but I mirrored it so that it doesn't clip through the user's hand when aiming down sights.
Here's a pistol loosely-based on the Luger P08. I used the hammers from both the 10mm Pistol and Chinese Pistol to try and simulate the linkages of the toggle-lock action. The linkage movement isn't perfect, but at full speed, I think it's good enough to get the idea across. (Vid below)
I gave the General-Purpose Machine Gun the animated ammo belt treatment.
The Eyegouger is a unique Turnbolt Semi-Auto Conversion, cut down Obrez-style. Its special effect will likely be to cripple heads on crit.
"Who you callin' a cowboy? I'm a grown-ass cowMAN, and I ain't gonna be seen carryin' no sissy 'mare's leg,' no sir! Now, this right here? THIS is a REAL man's gun." Introducing the Stallion's Cock, a unique M1 Garand that's been cut down Mare's Leg style. (Video in the comments)
The Coercer is a unique Jungle Carbine, visually based on the gun carried by Patty Hearst during the 1974 Hibernia Bank robbery. I'm thinking this gun will frenzy targets on crit.
Some updates to the Jungle Carbine. I added the hollow divots in the stock for the oil bottle/sling loop, and also made it moddable with the Assault Carbine Extended Mags and the Varmint Rifle Night Scope, so you can make a pseudo-M3.
The Jungle Carbine Pistol (Yeah, I'm still workshopping the name) is inspired by the Iver Johnson Enforcer, a post-war "pistol" built using M1 Carbine parts. At some point, I'll probably make a unique version that looks like the Patty Hearst gun.
The Jungle Carbine is loosely-based on the M1 Carbine, but will be chambered in .357 Magnum because I don't want to add yet another single-use ammo type to the game.
The Turnbolt Semi-Auto Conversion is a Hunting Rifle converted into a semi-automatic by adding a gas tube and slide cam to operate the bolt handle when firing. It's loosely inspired by both the Howell and Charlton systems developed during the period between the two World Wars. (Vid below)
The High-Volume Automatic Rifle is a Browning BAR fitted with a WWI-era machine gun's water-cooling barrel jacket, allowing for longer periods of sustained fire. I'm thinking about giving it an ammo backpack with feed chute going up the mag well, but then I'd need to figure out the reload animation.
