I call Fundy low tides ‘the surface of the moon’. Then in 6 hours it’s meters of water.
I use this one and have 2 spares as they do break with constant use. But they will keep thick hair contained.
Here’s my rhododendron that I fed about 2 weeks ago. I’m hoping for flowers… 🤷🏻♀️
When I visited there in 2017 they had another orphan giraffe. That one made friends with the elephants.
I’ve been there and it’s amazing!! Went on a safari trip in 2017 and as a donor I was able to get into the Nairobi nursery and we also went as part of the trip (didn’t know that was part of it prior to going). So glad I went!!!! This pic is the baby I fostered.
I see them literally everywhere right now in western New Brunswick.
Getting to have this view took my whole life, and unacceptable political instability. I left what I thought was my final home, where I created a magical Monarch butterfly-producing garden full of native perennial pollinators including flowering trees, but no peace of mind. I can rebuild a garden.
I’ve got one of those from my trip there in 2017!! I went to see elephants in their natural habitats and I got to go to the Sheldrick Trust orphan sanctuary.
I’ve had pretty much every major category hair color but my mother always said I should go lighter. My hair has turned the whiter version of gray and I have to say begrudgingly that she was correct.
My cat (tbf, she’s a tripod) took a year of observing my Airedale before she would engage. She initially jumped around on furniture to avoid the very enthusiastic dog but finally they are friends.

Where in New Brunswick?? I’m on the very west coast, near St Andrews, and look west over the St Croix so I’ve got beautiful sunsets but haven’t seen anything like this at sunrise. Here’s my Wolf moon Friday night, looking east.
my husband and I lost Marvin about a month ago. My husband had him for years, but he'd lived a tough life before he got rescued and then adopted. He enjoyed sleeping in sun puddles and drinking lots of fresh water. I hope you're running free, little Marvin, we miss you!!
I wondered where they were and found them on the heated floors! 🤣
