Many congratulations to @gouravmohanty.bsky.social on the paperback release for DANCE OF SHADOWS As a desi fantasy reader, there’s no one like Gourav combining GRRM’s worldbuilding, Abercrombie’s prose & Indian mythology. If you haven’t jumped on this amazing series yet, why not?
As a follow up, this was George’s reaction on seeing the scene for the first time (h/t George’s THR Interview by @jameshibberd.bsky.social). This was certainly an odd turn by Ira Parker & doesn’t bode well for the future stories when he doesn’t have the text to adapt.
From Ira Parker’s Reddit AMA. Here’s his answer about why he left out the most important line from the Hedge Knight novella. This is kinda weird that this scene/line would be cut but the shitting scene from episode 1 (which wasn’t in the novella) was included
Had a fantastic time at the @peterclines.bsky.social book signing at Parallel Worlds bookstore yesterday. Peter chatted about his newest GOD’S JUNK DRAWER, the books he’s loved & so much more. Today he will be having an event in Seattle, Brick & Mortar books with @djangowexler.bsky.social.
Here are four 2026 titles that I can’t wait for. What are yours?

For all those busy watching the crap on Faux and thinking Portland is some horrid burning crap-pit. This was taken last week and you can see the ICE Facility highlighted in the 3rd and 4th pic. People were calmly protesting in front and there’s no major problems happening.
Whoa TIL that @shawnspeakman.com & the terrific @grimoakpress.bsky.social are giving the special edition treatment to an iconic & highly underrated @tadwilliams.bsky.social series. The Otherland saga is one of my alltime faves & finally it’s getting the deluxe look & feel which it richly deserves
