Looks like it’s got warm again which is so scary with the fires still raging
Low paid workers have their wages topped up by government via our taxes. Many of the companies that are bad payers tend to pay minimal tax but appear to pay bonuses whilst paying minimal taxes. Why are we subsiding their profits? Even Winston Churchill, wasn’t thought it was wrong

We are in day 4 of the canacule, just thankful we got AC fitted last year. Our Prefecture cancelled all today’s sporting events as it is far too hot. Really glad we have a pool to dip into. The heating control system is showing some crazy outside temps
June here in France and it’s scorchio - these temperatures are what I would expect on the odd day in July and August or in the Middle East

Baz so many safety devices on lifts they are safer than trains. I have been on top of a lot of lifts in my time but the ones to the top of Blackpool Tower and Spinnaker Tower were a bit blowy. The window cleaning cradle at St John I did balk at and sent my colleague out on that one instead.
