This innocent little baby had to be muzzled and have 3 vet techs holding her while they tried to trim her nails because she was determined to kill them all They told me she has to be sedated next time Honestly, I think they made the whole thing up because LOOK AT THIS TINY CUTIE PIE

Kitchen reno day 1 My greatest fear was them finding some Big Issue with the house at this stage (rotten studs, termites, cracked floor, dangerous electrics etc) But nope, full steam ahead :) 🤞 #HouseDomme

Kitchen reno starts in a week: Excitiing! Had to choose a new stone after learning that my countertop looks darker than I expect despite all my huge windows Chose this bright linear white: Totally different aesthetic than I planned, but hopefully it'll be awesome 🤞 #HouseDomme

I just DIYed my laundry in a day for $350 Why didn't I do it earlier? Because I wanted to do a *proper* reno (cabinets, tiles, splashback, counter, lights etc) & was doing endless rounds of research for some 'perfect design' I exhaust myself Before & after w bonus Eesha <3 #HouseDomme

OFC: A problem :/ I got a sample of the cream part of the slab after the deal was done Just as well Turns out it looks great in the light beside my glass doors, but 3 feet away on my benchtop, it's an awful dirty-beige IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE THE SAME STONE! WTAF?! Have to start over now :/

I know y'all will be very excited to see the kitchen benchtop slab I chose: -Polished Patagonia Creame quartzite I'm obsessed w the distinct stone & crystal in patagonia That pinkish hue is lovely & there are glittery 'gems' along that edge Photos don't do it justice It's stunning <3 #HouseDomme

When you've had chemo & your hair grows back everyone who knows tells you how great it looks Obviously I can't trust any of them But when someone who doesn't know tells me my hair looks great, & adds a comparison to Annie Lennox, well, that's a different story WHY YES THANK YOU VERY MUCH! <3

Eesha went for her first swim (ever?) :) She was on the Long Red Leash of Privilege & saw a seagull bobbing about on the river It took off & she ran in, out of her depth She is NOT a good swimmer, all paws splashing water into her face She didn't freak out, just splashy-swam back So brave 🥰

Went to look at some natural stone slabs, small shop, first time I got to talk to the actual stone guy Mentioned the fabricators my cabinet-maker recommended: They did NOT inspire confidence in handling natural stone when I met w them Him: LOL no [big chat about it] Meanwhile, on reddit :D

I finally, FINALLY, bought, built, and put up a permanent screen on my deck: It's the only side I have neighbours It's timber-look aluminium because I'm a lazy cow and will never, NEVAAAAR, maintain real wood I forgot some screws because REASONS. I'm sure they're not important :P #HouseDomme

It's available, yes I made the mistake of properly looking around & getting wow'd by so many truly gorgeous natural options I mean, look at this stunning quartzite in a mockup of my new kitchen <3 Give me an engineered stone that looks like this & I'll take it in a heartbeat :)
