Gonna be a hot one today… my favorite place to beat the heat? The sun deck! 😎🌞
We're now in the heart of our busy season. On Saturday, July 18, we welcomed 98,174 riders, our highest single-day ridership since 2019. Our previous post-pandemic high was 95,361 on July 26, 2025. There's a lot of summer left so more 90K+ days are likely. Thanks for riding with us!
Don’t forget: Tomorrow vehicle reservations open at 10 a.m. for our fall sailing season on the #Anacortes/#SanJuanIslands and #PortTownsend/#Coupeville routes. Grab reservations for Sept. 20 through Dec. 26, 2026. secureapps.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/rese...
#HappeningNow at our #Vashon terminal! Expect delays here and at out #Fauntleroy terminal from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. today 7/20 and tomorrow 7/21 for pavement repair work.
If you’re driving through our Vashon or Fauntleroy terminals early next week, expect delays as we repair pavement on the docks. Crews will be at Vashon terminal on 7/20 & Fauntleroy on 7/21. Work will start at 7a-3p. both days. Vehicles will be directed around the work areas
Our Vashon Island ferries will be JAM PACKED this weekend. The community’s berry fun, annual Strawberry Festival is happening, and it brings thousands of visitors. For a sweet ride, we recommend festivalgoers walk on at Fauntleroy/Southworth/Point Defiance if they can.
