Sunset resting. She’s not much for propping her head the way her brother is.
Moonrise resting. I have to assume this is in some way comfortable dozing this way, or he wouldn’t do it.
Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, DC, Marvel, Disney, Pixar, Spielberg, Cameron, Wachowskis, or Ghibli.
The other comes up less in my routine conversation but is nonetheless a lasting and kind of important delight. 2/2
I really have to do a two-fer for this. One is obvious to anyone who knows me. 1/2
Our cats deeply love pummeling packing paper into submission and sleeping on the carcass, too. I love watching them do it.
Moonrise is a stumpy-tailed cat. This afternoon I saw him rolling back and forth playing with a catnip toy as usual, then doing something unfamiliar. I got a better look, and discovered he was chasing his lil’ tail round and round. Not for long, but he seemed pleased with the results.
Upon further consideration, Moonrise does acknowledge it’s a very fine afternoon and the petting has been very good. He is purring with satisfaction.
Found this thumbnail browsing used book listings. I sort of want someone to write the story implied by this combo of author, title, and illo.
I’ve got this toilet chair in the living room for in case I had an episode of not being able to stand/walk at the wrong time. This is a new pad to go under it. The cats have decided it’s just great for their purposes.
Moonrise thinks this whole waking-up thing is pretty disreputable.
Gotta like that. Sunset has been snuggling me and grooming mellowly in between times of this:
A couple years ago, this box held a big folding cart. Sunset thinks it the finest box she’s ever seen. It will be hers forever.
Having surveyed the human part of the environment, Sunset rests, making the softest, gentlest of purrs.
Sunset doesn’t know it’s the Sunday before Christmas. To her it’s just another rainy day, good for lying on my Kindle and looking gorgeous.
