Another day in Bayern and another festival, this one is about 20-25 minutes away and is Zwiesel Grenzelandfest,, so in english it's the border land festival as we're getting v.close to the Czech border. @thornbridgedom.bsky.social will be pleased to know that we're now down to €10.20 for a Maß.

Working out in a field behind the yard all this week, 10 hour days, very warm and hard work. I've lost 2kgs since yesterday morning so I think that my beer free Mon-Wed can be waived today 🍺😂

Found a cool spot Cheers 🍻 There's an outside stage by the lake at the campsite as well it was good fun last night and there's another band tonight.

We love G&T, cheers Richard, we're at a wonderful little beer festival in Nepomuk, eighteen breweries a stage with some ermmm....interesting music 😆, there's a Bon Jovi tribute band later, but we'll probably be back by then.

That was a fab' day in Plzen yesterday, the small ice cream shop nextdoor to Kegsistence was a great find. We both had two scoops, I had Sour Cherry and Tonka, Loz had Cucumber and Poppy seed scoops.

Train beer back to Nepomuk picked up at the station, never tried this before but it's not bad, in fact it's alright.

The wildflower meadows in the garden are looking wonderful, so many bees, butterflies, hoverflies, grasshoppers.

After two days of alcohol free beers, I have relented today and decided to get a beer (or two) and watch the football. Cheers all 🍻

It might have a really ridiculous label and I may have had a very low expectation of this radler but I really love this, really good bitterness and plenty of grapefruit comes through.

Another supermarket beer from Ceské Budêjovice, it was in the regional section, it's okay but no great shakes. Uh oh.. rumbles of thunder ⚡ sky starting to get darker.

Next level beer drinking 🤣. Pump up gloriously cold water from the well, find a good use for your large builders mixing tub, dip your feet in and away you go.
