My emo son Dimitri, who I'll be playing in an upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade oneshot! He's a 12th-gen Tzimisce, and a former vampire hunter turned against his will.

Y'all ever see the Build-a-Bear 'After Dark' line?

A picture I took on the floor of the waiting room of my local ER last night because I have a bulging disc in my spine and everything except lying down hurts 🤡

Storytime lol So a few years back I did a gig for Trans Book Box, a subscription box, that hired artists to make custom bookmarks and postcards to go with the novels. The novel I was paired for was Heart, Haunt, Havoc by Freydis Moon who was, supposedly, an autistic nonbinary latinx person (1/4)🧵

Usually my sketches aren't too different from my thumbnails, but I hadn't quite gotten the vibe of the lab right on my first pass haha. I ended up really liking this panel, though (3/3)

The toilet was described in Andrés' script as looking "reserved for royalty", and immediately started looking for the gaudiest references I could find. One of which had the seat looking like a saddle with a horse attached to the bowl (2/3)

Into the Kiln (2/2)

$Page 2. There are no traditional panels in this comic, just different scenes against a black background. The first panel scene is a comparison of the clay and porcelain arms, the porcelain is drawn with only straight lines, and the clay is curved. Text reads "They are polished, immutable, and perfect. I am impressionable, dull, and inconsistent." The second scene shows the clay figure craving grooves into his own face with his fingers, text reading "I was born fractured Texture, grooves, folds, lopsidedness." The third scene shows the clay figure escaping from a grey mold the porcelain parents push together, text reading "I tried to fit myself into the mold my family had prepared, but I never fit quite right."$

$Page 3. There are three scenes, all of the same pot with an image of the four family members on it, but in the second and third images a large crack appears to separate the dad from the rest of the family. The text reads "Aside from this, we were the image of a good family. But in recent years, we've started to see the fractures. It started with my father, who was chipped when he was young."$

Page 4. The first scene shows the porcelain dad and mom fighting, red shards emerging from the dad's mouth to stab the mom through her heart, text reading "He turns around to chip my mother, my brother, and myself. Says it's to fortify us for the world outside, the Kiln he calls it. Prevent others from chipping us first, he always claims." In the second scene, the mom is crying shards into her hands, her heart shattered, text reading "They start to grow cracks." In the third scene, the clay son grasps his mother's hand, getting the porcelain dirty, text reading "I try to smooth them over and fill the gaps with my clay, but it just makes their skin muddy."

Page 5. The first scene has text laid over two big shards of porcelain, reading "Sometimes I feel bad for him, the next big crack may be his last. But other times, I want to dash him against the stones. In the final scene, the clay son has completely shattered his father into pieces with a rock, red splatters underneath. Text reads "Destroy him, rebuild him, fix him, so that he may see what he's done. But I know we shall lose him to the Kiln first."

A couple of years ago, I made a autobio vent comic about my dad for TOWER Magazine. He's been pulling more bullshit lately and I realised I haven't spoken to him for a full year so here's the comic. Into the Kiln (1/2)🧵

The first page of a 5 page autobiographical digital comic. The red title reads "Into the Kiln", underneath is text of Finn's full name, Finn O'Sullivan, and his instagram handle under that. In the middle of the page is text reading "I am a clay child in a porcelain family." At the bottom of the page is four humanoid figures, three sharp white and blue porcelain people and one red and black clay figure looking at them. The clay figure is Finn, and the other figures are his family, his mom, younger brother, and dad.

Been making a pub in Animal Crossing instead of drawing, oops

A gameplay screenshot from Animal Crossing New Horizons. It shows Finn's character sitting out front of a pub-looking structure. Finn has layered in-game furniture to make it look like a building, brown castle gates in front of brown counters, the counters have food, bottles, and a cash register on them. Behind the counters are panels with a bottle rack designs on them, and behind the panels are large flowery pergolas meant to look like a roof. Out front, the pub has metallic black tables and chairs, a jukebox, a standing sign, a phone booth, a telephone pole, lights, and flower pots.

8pm. I get a text from my friend Bianca saying "we got our free tattoos a year ago today!" Last year, we went to the opening of a vintage thrift store called My Dead Grandpa. They had some local tattoo artists doing free tattoos as promotion. Bianca got a frog, I got three stacked blocks with faces on them. One has a frown, one is neutral, and one is smiling. We also took an amazing selfie of us wearing Home Depot jackets. We didn't buy them at the time but Bianca eventually went back and got one lol.

6pm. Went out to the backyard to trim the edges around the grass. The edges grow way faster than the rest of it for some reason. I went to move a carpet my brother had left on the grass, when something slithered out from underneath it. It was just a blue tongued lizard! Scared the shit out of me though.

4pm-5pm. Played Animal Crossing New Horizons for 2 hours. Oops. They added a major update to the game recently, put in a hotel and a bunch of new items! I used to play super consistently for the first couple years after it came out so it's nice to have new content. Had to put my sheets on again because they were still wet.

It literally doesn't make any sense, since it's only been a few weeks since we sorted them all out.
