random midnight lore drop but i have recently been thinking about how in her old island life panini was very starry-eyed and cute but then by the time of ARR (only a year later) she had somehow become an angry stabby rogue character, and then it hit me. the culprit (context in alt text):

He is an older oc from the time before I fantasia'd into a lalafell, who was part of my old wol's lore. He is a sea merchant and the captain of his own crew (translation: pirate, swindler and smuggler).
I still love my old ocs and I'm happy to bring him back even if it's just a minor role on Panini's story. But anyway unfortunately for her he is a bit of a scoundrel and spending one year in his debt, traveling on his ship with his crew, influenced her greatly for better and worse.
Originally she would have boarded the ship of a nice crew who took pity on her, but it makes so much sense to me that it was actually this guy who took her in, tricked her into being in his debt, and as a result had her learn much of the ways of his world over the course of that year.
But all things considered she turned out ok. This was good for her even. Maybe.

duality of lalafell

A picture of my submission for the Berlin Fanfest art contest. It depitcts Khloe opening the Wondrous Tails book. A magical puff of smoke is coming out of it, and in the smoke there is a depiction of the stories contained within the book: warriors of light facing the primals Titan, Garuda and Ifrit. There is also a lot of confetti and stickers flying about.
