They gave 52 a slap on the wrist on its paint and buffed Custom Blaster by giving Triple Splashdown invincibility faster. (I already hated this special, by the way.) And that's not even mentioning other stupid buffs like making Trizooka faster. (???)

.52 Gal/.52 Gal Deco: Decreased the radius of the ink splatter at the point of impact for projectiles that land at a distance by approximately 8%.

Triple Splashdown:
After activation, players become invulnerable to damage approximately 1/6th of a second faster than before.
Decreased the area of the damaging explosion area by approximately 9%.
Increased the distance traveled by the ink fists by approximately 9%.
With this change, the area that deals 100 or more damage due to overlapping explosions is decreased.

Trizooka: Increased the speed of shots by approximately 13% without changing the flight distance.

I have had very strong opinions on Splatoon 3's balancing for as long as I've been playing it and my opinion on its state has only soured as time goes on. And after the way the meta has shifted to blaster and 52 gal shutting down so many weapons, including Inkbrush, this feels like the devs saying

Happy 35th Anniversary to Sonic! To celebrate, I will be sharing... a Tails Doll sprite sheet? Yeah. Sure. #MyArt #Sonic #TailsDoll

A sprite sheet for Tails Doll in the style of Sonic CD, taking the role of Metal Sonic. There's sprites for it stepping on Ricky the Squirrel, posing with a confident fist up, getting ready for a race, floating, attacking with an electric field, boosting, and being defeated with parts that would fly out. There's also a showcase of slightly different palettes for it, depending on which version of Sonic CD will be used, which Tails sees and is scared of.

There's then credits that read as thus:

Thoughts on Octobrush after playing it to get 4 stars for all brushes.

I feel like I have to work so much harder for kills that are easier to guarantee than with Inkbrush in theory, but the damage is so bad that it can just set you up for death if they're just a little too far away, but I should be able to use my slides to escape bad situations like that, but the slide is too slow to rely on and it also (at least feels like it) takes longer to get at a good speed, especially when turning around, so that can also just set you up for death. At that point, why not play Luna or Tri if you want a big hitbox and more range than Inkbrush?

Here's some footage of my Tails mod for Sonic 1! Since the CD video, I actually touched up Tails' colors a bit. His fur has slightly different lightest and darkest colors, I use the darkest red for his fur's shading instead of black, and I even colored his boot buckles in! #Sonic1 #Tails #MyArt
