Dave Fisher
@fishiwan
Fisher by name, gay by nature. (Never been fishing IRL). Love playing games of most types, and seeing humanoids doing flippy, fighty shit (toku, wrestling, comics). Contents: ADHD, additives, borderline-excessive punctuation, mystery ingredients. He/Him.
2nd Round: I played creatures. My opponent stole them and killed me with them. Multiple times. I lost two rounds in about 15 mins, and spent 25 mins considering my life choices.
First Round: My opponent was returning to Magic after years away. He played excruciatingly slowly. He was playing 5 colours because he pulled Thanos. He activated the 'snap' 3 times, clearing my board each time. I lost the second game with less than 10 mins on the round.
The little that is on Rider Wiki about Dawn suggests that him existing at all is a whole thing, and there's no way Kousei Amano looks this good for a brief appearance.
Proof of life and dinner. Kevin is the wizard who made everything be cooked at the same time, and I'm very glad that he did.
At first glance I thought, "that's a curious design for a speaker." Turns out that I was correct.
I've really considered myself rubbish at drafting 3-colour sets, but look: 7-2 in a TDM draft!
Finally did this Alex Ross jigsaw that I was gifted 3-4 years ago. Only took me two sittings to complete, but it's certainly helped justify the purchase of this table.
It seems that Microsoft doesn't like it when you *checks notes* pin the Rewards page in your browser and regularly play Xbox games 🤷
I feel like this accolade is more to do with a low Japanese userbase for YouTube Music than me being a big listener, but I have listened to the entirety of her newest album multiple times a week for the last few months 🤷🏻
My ex definitely remembers this, but I don't think I've heard it mentioned by anyone else ever.
Made it to the final city of this massive Japan trip and bumped into this other guy from Tipton at the DDT show. What are the chances?
This is the best type of AI. It has a goal, it makes decisions, it hinders its opponent. It's a board, with 2 wooden discs and 6 cards. It beat me thoroughly.
Finally made the time to play a boardgame I've had for 3 months: Wayfarers of the South Tigris. I like how deep it is, but I always find that my first game against the AI in Garphill games leads to me losing massively.
Sometimes I look up videos of old ads on YouTube. Often, there's gold to be found. The women of 1989 loved *checks notes* the fluids in young skin???
I should definitely be working, but I got Capaldi on Doctor Who Thirteen and I'm pretty buzzed by it. This is like getting 8192 in a regular game of 2048.
On my lunch I finished my 20th game of the year: New Super Lucky's Tale! It's a fun, if straightforward, 3D platformer, with a lot of charm. My favourite NPC interaction:
